喜欢 Very friendly groundskeeper, everything super clean

不喜欢 We have no problem with old sanitary facilities, but only one toilet and one urinal for the men, two toilets for the women, only one shower and one washbasin each is a bit small at full capacity.

不喜欢 It's not a campsite it's a building site is have contacted Maguires and pitch up for a refund and not heard anything back.
It's dirty and poor facilities no disabled access to showers and toilets. The workmen were digging right in front of us from 8am with noisy heavy machinery there is only one shower each for male and female and their old and dirty.
It was the most expensive site of the 12 sites in a row we book on our roadtrip and that includes the 2 other maguires sites we stayed at. There is no staff only Gordon who is a nice enough fella and lives on site in a motor home.

Since the recent acquisition of the park by Maguires Country Parks, we’ve begun a phased redevelopment programme to bring the site up to the high standard we maintain across all our parks. Unfortunately, this has meant some unavoidable construction activity, and we completely understand your frustration.

We also acknowledge your concerns about the current facilities, including the lack of accessible amenities. We’d like to assure you that the sanitary block is next in line for a full redevelopment, which will include improved accessibility and modernised facilities.

喜欢 Pitch good with gravel and grass generous side.

不喜欢 sanitary facilities unacceptable for a large campground, loose tiles in shower with water seeping through, very low pressure when anything more than one tap is opened. No dishwashing facilities, only a cleaners sink available.

喜欢 Motorhome pitches layed out well, with water and power on each site. location handy for train to walk hadrians wall.

不喜欢 sanitary block was very old and unacceptable with one shower per gender, and with loose tiles slopping grey water around the drying area, small sink for face and other washes. Dangerous uneven steps leading down to block with rough sawn handrails and rough pebble dashed wall to stop your potential fall.

喜欢 Location - 20 mins walk to train station and nice couple of villages / parks. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very quiet.

不喜欢 Pricey for below average facilities. Toilet block dated, shower was a trickle. View not great. Should be half the price for what's there currently. It looks like they are developing, a little shop for basics would be nice. And toilet block needs improving. Half the price would have been happy but you can find much more beautiful spots near by with better facilities.

不喜欢 Expensive. No washing up facilities. Gents had 1 toilet so husband had to queue even when the site was quiet. £36 a night inc.dog. for a view of building site as Park is creating a static caravan site.

喜欢 The arrangement so the bus stopped right outside (not at an official bus stop)

不喜欢 Total lack of expected river view. Earth-moving machinery on site, active from 8.00 each morning. Out-dated toilet facilities, and no washing-up station. the fact that quite obviously campervans and caravans were not really wanted, and that static chalets were vastly more important (as well as being increased in number).
