Liked Staff were REALLY nice and kind.
The facilities were amazingly clean.
The shop was stocked with all the essentials- including the extras needed for repairing and maintenance of your 'home for the holiday' from basic tent pegs to awning fixing kits , from bungee rope to water carriers for your motor home, this small shop was great!
The bar was nicely laid out with good beers on tap and cocktails available along with soft drinks for the kids.
THE SITE STILL ACCEPTS CASH
Disliked Our pitch was not level and the gully behind seemed to of flooded into our awning overnight ..we slept dry as we were up in our van.... but we'll blame the storm Erin for mistreating us!
The WiFi is rubbish !!!
There is no swimming pool onsite, that is shown in the photos!
The entertainment barn was so full it prohibited us from getting involved!
Unfortunately the food was a bit expensive for what it was, and as for the actual burgers..... to be honest I would rather of eaten a McDonalds burger patty than theirs and I refuse to eat McDonalds rubbish! The only rescuing part of the burger was the nicely filled rolls having a decent amount of salad in them!

Liked The team. They were fantastic from day one. Restaurant was good and catered for children brilliantly.

Liked -Great facilities including a well stocked and fair priced shop as well as evening entertainment.
-Welcoming staff
-A good number of family showers that can be used, so good for families with younger children.
-Play park.
Disliked -Only one shower and toilet block for where we were staying and it wasn’t the closest to our pitch.

Although it was an hours wait for food it was nice.
Pizza from the barn was also very good.
Disliked Had entertainment for only two nights, I feel even if the barn was opened up more with some music playing would give people something to do on an evening.

Liked Fully serviced pitch. Hard standing with water, waste and electricity. Good and level and secure.
Toilets and showers were good but not spotless. Showers were powerful and hot!
Disliked Noise from the barn entertainment. Although this is free and what a lot of people enjoy but with a 7 year old in the van getting to sleep before 10pm was difficult

Liked Excellent facilities, shower block is one of the best. Hot, great pressure and kept very clean.
We were adjacent to the play area, which seems well serviced for young families . Refreshing to see its closed after 9pm ,made for a lovely quiet evening

FHU gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Our serviced pitch was level and well-kept, with water and drainage conveniently close by. The on-site shop was excellent, offering a wide range of fresh products, including bread and pastries, as well as an impressive selection of camping and caravanning supplies. The staff were both knowledgeable and welcoming, which made a real difference. The views across the Fleet were stunning, and there were plenty of beautiful walks in the surrounding area.
Disliked This site is not particularly quiet. The clubhouse played loud music until around 11:00pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. During August there were also lots of unsupervised children – not necessarily an issue in itself, but it did mean the noise carried on until 10–11pm most nights.
There is almost no mobile signal for EE and O2 - Wi-fi was very poor in our field and when connected at full strength near the clubhouse only provided around 3Mb
The main downside for us was the toilet and shower block. It wasn’t cleaned regularly or thoroughly enough and is in need of refurbishment. Although the showers are in private rooms with a sink and toilet, they are mixed-use, which wasn’t ideal. Overall, the facilities were the weakest part of the stay.
