How do I switch off Payup? What will this mean for my bookings?

To stop using Payup you will need to change your payment settings in the 'Payments' section of your listing under 'Campground Info' in the manager portal.
 
By unticking the ‘Take payments direct via Payup’ option, this will deactivate automated Stripe payments for future bookings. However, bookings taken when Payup payment was activated for your listing will still be processed automatically by Stripe. You can see which bookings are due to be processed by Stripe in the 'Bookings' tab under the 'Balance status' column as they will still be marked as 'Pending' in amber. To stop payment for these bookings being taken via Stripe, click on the 'Pending' balance and select 'Cancel balance payment' in the pop up to prevent automated payment being taken. Remember, if you cancel a payment you will need to process this manually in line with your payment policy.
 
Please note that you will not be able to take payment in advance from guests other than via the Payup payment system. If you choose to stop using Payup, you will only be able to take balance payment on arrival.
