喜欢: Functional, clean and tidy, toilets and showers were well maintained and clean, small site with no reception building, all correspondence was done with a lass called Sarah on messenger, but that's fine, it's about 10-15 minutes walk to the small village, so not too remote, mite not be a liking to everybody, but we really enjoyed the peace and quiet with the feeling of being remote, thank you

喜欢: Everything about this site is amazing! We loved the whole stay from start to finish, we had an electric hook up tent pitch and had no complaints. Generous size pitches as we have a big berghaus air tent. Everyone on site was friendly on our stay which always helps! Only 15 minutes from Richmond where we spent a full day too!

喜欢: The site was lovely and clean. Staff and owner very friendly. The pitches were a good size.
10 minute walk to pub and shop.

不喜欢: Felt the shower and washing up room needs updating.

喜欢: Nice adult only site with a very laid back atmosphere. Display board with layout of site and your name with the pitch number on it. Very clean toilet and shower rooms, free range eggs and jams for sale.
Easy walking distance to the village store and two pubs.
Well worth a visit.

喜欢: Close to A1. Clean.

不喜欢: This is OK if, in an emergency you need to get somewhere off the A1 for a night only. Very, very basic. One mens and one women's toilet and one shower each. Definitely not worth the £30 fee when you see what other sites are charging.

We do have 2 toilet/shower blocks which are clearly marked on our site map at the entrance. All our facilities are shown on the pitchup website gallery so you can make an informed decision if they are what you are happy to use for your stay with us. Our prices are based on the current cost of electric and the cost involved in maintaining the site, we are however in the process of building a new shower/toilet block for the future.
I can only suggest you do a bit more research into the sites you are thinking of booking before you actually book.

喜欢: Very quiet, just outside village. Very handy stopover

不喜欢: Only 1 toilet so could be a problem if site was full.

来自经理: Thank you for taking the time to leave is a review, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We do have a new shower block being built for next season but there is a second shower/toilet block on the other side of the site for when we are fully open. :)

喜欢: The only thing this site has going for it is the reasonably quiet location, although Highways Engineers turned up early the following morning to work on the road just outside the site.

不喜欢: The lack of facilities, no toilet paper in the men's. 6amp electricity supply, which I suspect is not a temporary thing, despite what the owner states & is likely to have been & continue to be the norm'.
The fee charged for staying here is totally out of context to the facilities offered.
I will most certainly read the reviews more closely of any future sites we are considering.

来自经理: Thank you for leaving us a review, I'm very sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us. Unfortunately we can not control the Highways Agency and when they choose to do repairs to Parkgate lane caused by the solar farm. Our facilities are listed on PitchUp as is the fact we only have 6 amp hookups at the moment, we had to reduce to amp age when we extended the size of the site from 5 to 20 pitches, when it became apparent our supply was not enough, (if you would like to contact me directly I can show you the £20K plus invoice to have this upgraded) which is due to happen later this month ready for next season.
We are a small rural site and our prices reflect to cost of running and maintaining this to a high standard, perhaps you would be more comfortable on a more commercial site.
