Good little site with easy access

Mi è piaciuto: Quiet and small site.
Bathroom and washing facilities were good , although one shower might be a bit of a issue if it was busy.
Electric available which was great
Good location and easy to get everywhere we planned on visiting.
If you need a freezer for ice blocks you can use this or swap them over which was useful (ending up buying a cooler in Lidl though whilst we were there!)

Mi è piaciuto: Lovely set up, brilliant for children with alpacas, crazy golf and a park... importantly easy access with the caravan too!!
Everyone was so helpful - would visit again
Non mi è piaciuto: As the popularity of the site grows more toilets and showers will be needed as there is currently only 2 female toilets and one shower, but didn't cause us an issue whilst we were there

Mi è piaciuto: Very lovely polite welcome on arrival, fantastic space with plenty to do for the children. Very clean facilities. Some lovely animals to visit.

Mi è piaciuto: The campsite was beautiful, everything was nice and clean and the pitches were neat and tidy. The picnic bench with the hard standing pitch was a lovely added touch.
Friendly staff and very helpful with our queries.
Non mi è piaciuto: The only thing I could possibly mention was the shower. It was very responsive to anything else happening with water in the unit which obviously was a lot on a Saturday, so the shower was frequently going cold or losing all of it’s pressure.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the showers, The issue you encountered with fluctuating water temperature and pressure, especially during peak times, is a common challenge in shared facilities. This typically occurs when multiple water fixtures are in use simultaneously, leading to pressure imbalances.
We are trying to address this, we are considering the installation of pressure-balanced valves in our shower units. These valves automatically adjust to maintain a consistent water temperature, thereby enhancing comfort and safety for all users.

Mi è piaciuto: We stayed from Friday 16th to Sunday 17th we had the best experience and will be booking again for end of may. The owners are absolutely lovely and very welcoming. We couldn't start car and right away owner came to save the day with no obligation. Thank you for a fab weekend.

Non mi è piaciuto: Only thing I will mention is the bench in the ladies shower area is loose so it feels like it’s going to break when you sit which is not a fun feeling.
