What customers say
A clean, friendly campsite with spacious sites and helpful staff. Great for exploring Anglesey & Snowdonia, close to Bangor. Facilities are good, though some found them basic. Alpacas and a playground are kid-pleasers. Guests noted occasional noise and limited showers at busy times.

Fantastic base from which to explore some incredibly beautiful places!
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Very friendly and helpful.
I was in a small camper with basic awning. We had a good choice of places to pitch so we chose to be a little out of the way, but not too far from the toilets. The site had well placed lights, so you can easily find the loo after dark.
My son and I were only stopping for the one night but we were able to chill out and watch the Perseid meteor shower until the early hours!
Oh, if you like alpacas, they have those too
Disliked Nothing

From the manager: Reply from Wilson’s Treborth Caravan Park:
Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased you found our staff friendly and the park clean.
We have two toilet and shower blocks with separate facilities for men and women, which we believe is efficient for the size of our park, and both blocks are cleaned twice daily.
When booking, we make it clear that we do not offer dedicated cooking facilities for tents. Most of our tent guests are happy to bring their own camping stoves or cooking equipment, so we’re disappointed this resulted in negative comments, as this is not something we advertise as being provided.
Your comments will be considered when we review future improvements to our facilities, and we appreciate you recognising our staff and cleanliness.
Would stay again as overall it was a great site.
Powered grass campsite
Liked The locations is great and working walking distance to the bridge, go the scenic way through the botanical gardens. So peaceful on site, everyone is super friendly. Also the trees surrounding the site meant it wasn’t too windy (we’ve had bad experiences with windy sites in the past).
Disliked The toilets could do with being cleaned more often, especially the ones near the camping field. And the showers go hot and cold which wasn’t pleasant.

Powered grass campsite
Liked The size of the pitch was great, we didn’t feel on top of neighbours giving us plenty space to relax.
Disliked The toilets and showers on the site were poor. For the size of the site to only have 3 male and 3 female showers and toilets for the site was not enough. Although showers seem to have been updated the shower and toilet blocks were dirty and not maintained well during our stay (toilet rolls in the small toilet block were not replaced in over 48 hours). The showers take a long time to drain away and if someone flushed the toilet or ran the tap the temperature fluctuates from freezing to scalding making for a challenging shower.

From the manager: Reply from Wilson’s Treborth Caravan Park:
Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased you enjoyed the size of your pitch and the space it provided.
Our toilet and shower blocks are cleaned twice daily, and toilet rolls are replaced during these checks. If at any point supplies run out or an issue arises in between cleaning times, we always encourage guests to let the office know so we can resolve it immediately.
We do find that in damp weather, grass can sometimes be carried into the facilities despite our best efforts, but we still ensure both blocks are cleaned regularly throughout the day. The showers were recently upgraded, but we are aware that water temperature can fluctuate if taps or toilets are used at the same time, and we are actively looking into ways to improve this.
Good site, friendly staff.
Powered grass campsite
Liked A lovely quite site, with easy access to Bangor and shops. Plenty to do and areas to explore. Friendly staff. A good site for dogs due to the space available in the camping areas.
