What customers say
Highly-rated, family-friendly campground with clean facilities, spacious sites, and great entertainment. Guests love the pool, playgrounds, and friendly staff. While kids' activities and cleanliness are big hits, some mention WiFi, noise, and activity costs. Location is good, but can be remote without a car.

Liked We was mislead by the original booking with pitch up regarding our dogs .. and we didn’t look through the detail of the terms and conditions so couldn’t really do anything all together as someone had to be with the doggies all the time as couldn’t leave them . So was ok but nothing what we expected and did leave a day earlier .

Liked The staff, reception girls were friendly and welcoming. Customer service skills were amazing. The staff in the shop, Jo matter what time of the day it was - first thing or late at night the service was brilliant.
The pitches. Clean tidy well spaced. The pool itself was beautiful
Disliked Firstly, my friend wanted to add on to MY booking and had to pay £20 joining fee. Not a problem for the extra admin, however I was even charged a £20 joining fee also. Was a bit annoying as I was quite happy camping on my own. Why would I be charged for a choice SHE made.
The sheer mass of people. We couldn’t get a seat from 4pm onwards for any evening t entertainment, you need to reduce the table sizes so you can fit more in, or make the spaces bigger to fit the capacity you allow to book.
A noise switch off time is needed, we were situated on a pitch near the toilets (great no issue) however people were still playing music at 2am and was told because we were by the toilets it was expected.
More showers and toilets. The Que for the shower on the morning was 45 minutes. That is not acceptable

Fantastic family stay, only minor late-night noise on last nights.

Liked My wife, daughter, and I really enjoyed our time at Monkey Tree Holiday Park. The park was clean, well-kept, and had a friendly, welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. There was plenty to keep the whole family entertained, with great activities for children, spacious facilities, and beautiful surroundings. We loved how relaxed the vibe was — it really made it easy to unwind and spend quality time together.
Disliked The only small downside was that, on the last two nights, a couple of nearby groups of teenagers were very noisy until around 1:30 am and played ball close to the pitches, which occasionally hit cars and tents. It didn’t ruin our stay, but a little more supervision in the evenings could make the experience even better.

Liked The entertainment was fantastic. The entertainment team were wonderful. We also loved the swimming pool. Out little one had great fun in it.
Disliked Nothing to dislike as such just some parts of the soft play could do with renewing or chucking (mainly parts from the toddler area some were very worn or broken)

Liked There were plenty of shower/toilet blocks. Plenty of little playgrounds to keep the children busy. It was very safe for the children to play. The pool water was a lovely temperature and plenty of room.
Disliked The pool water was very dirty. Covered in flies and murky. The main playground was closed during our visit with no warning and the trampolines were taken away.
