What customers say

Highly-rated, family-friendly campground with clean facilities, spacious sites, and great entertainment. Guests love the pool, playgrounds, and friendly staff. While kids' activities and cleanliness are big hits, some mention WiFi, noise, and activity costs. Location is good, but can be remote without a car.

Liked We loved the site, the pitches were spacious, there was lots for all the family to do. There were lots of toilet blocks around each area of the site. There was somewhere to plug in your own hair dryer. The facilities were always clean. The shop had reasonable prices. There were little parks for the kids everywhere. 10/10 and we will be back!!

Liked We stayed the week at monkeh tree, our first pitch wasnt suitable due to size but they soon sorted it out and got us a different pitch which was perfect.
Close to shower blocks and only a few mins away from the shop and entertainment etc.
Showers and toilets were clean and had plenty of hot water. We tried all the facilities there, shop, tried the pizza and the chippy on site, aswell as the restaurant. We played bingo out son joined in on the kids entertainment, arcades and even went swimming once. All was really good. Enjoyed out week and going to book again.

Disliked Wifi wasnt good the further away from the main area you are.

Liked Really enjoyed our time here, great facilities from showers on site and the swimming pool was fantastic too, great happy staff and entertainment.

Disliked Food on site is pricey, and 9pm entertainment room gets full quickly and not enough tables.

Liked We was mislead by the original booking with pitch up regarding our dogs .. and we didn’t look through the detail of the terms and conditions so couldn’t really do anything all together as someone had to be with the doggies all the time as couldn’t leave them . So was ok but nothing what we expected and did leave a day earlier .

Liked The pool

Disliked Disliked the whole experience apart from the small amount of allocated time at the pool. Left early due to the dirty disgusting toilets and shower area. There was poo all over the bin in the toilet. No toilet roll at night and first thing in the morning. I was in the ladies with my 10 year old daughter and 2 men just walked in and did a two minute clean. No signs to say cleaning was about to be done, well if thats what you can call it.
Put with absolute animals. Swearing shouting, ball being kicked into tent and at our car.
I just wish I would've read reviews before booking 😪. Absolute disgrace. We left a day before as we couldn't stand anymore.
Had to book into hotel as this was our yearly holiday that we had saved to have.
Never again would i book in this place!
WiFi none existent and water turned off.
Couldn't wash anything. 😫

Liked The pool

Disliked The pool was lovely, but overall the site was overcrowded and under-equipped. Pitches were cramped, showers were too few with long queues, and the soft play was tiny (only for very young children). The restaurant was understaffed — breakfast took ages and arrived lukewarm. Sadly, we wouldn’t return.

Local attractions

Cornwall’s coastline and beaches are pretty much legendary, but Newquay (10 minutes) is world-famed for its surf and nightlife too. It’s a party town from daybreak until well after dark and the surf's so good they hold international competitions here – check out Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay. Perranporth (10 minutes) is the place to head for a more relaxed beach day, though it’s very popular so best to get your towel down early. The beach here is a fab spot for dog walking, rolling up the trousers for a paddle or lazing around and copping a look at the views. The Eden Project (35 minutes) has the UK’s most realistic rainforest, full of rare plant species and exotic butterflies, as well as a pretty nifty Mediterranean biome. Daredevils can also have a go on England’s longest zipwires – or head over to Flambards in Helston (45 minutes) for flumes, rollercoasters and go karting.
