What customers say
This lovely, peaceful family campsite boasts very clean facilities and exceptionally friendly owners. Guests loved the spacious pitches, kids' play areas/barn, and interaction with farm animals. Showers/drinking water were absent but acceptable for short stays given the great value. Highly recommended for families with young kids.

Excellent site for kids, really lovely staff and clean toilets
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Such a lovely campsite for families with young kids. The girls (age 4 and 5) absolutely loved the playground and seeing all the animals on site.
We enjoyed renting the fire pit and roasting our marshmallows in the evenings.
Staff were fantastic with the kids. Also easily contactable or nearby in very easy to spot purple Malpas t-shirts.
In addition to the campsite, on the Sunday the role play cafe on site was open and the girls absolutely loved this and didn’t want to go home.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked We have children 5 & 2. We really enjoyed this site, it’s a small site with a playground right next to the pitches, so kids can play within your eye line. There’s rabbits, donkeys, goats & sheep. The goats spent some time roaming round the site which was fun.
The atmosphere was perfect, there was about 15 pitches tops, all families with kids similar ages, all respectful which always helps.
Toilets clean, tuck shop with ice creams.
The staff couldn’t have done more, especially Nancy. All very welcoming.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Magical Malpas was exactly what it said on the tin! I lovely family run farm perfect for my short stay with my toddler. Owners were great, when we had only booked for one night they let us stay another when my son begged me to stay! Toilets were clean and easily accessible. A great small farm you can see everything you need to from all of the pitches, liked that it wasnt proper assigned pitches and just able to pitch up wherever you liked (as long as there was space)
My little boy loved the play area and all of the animals - especially the goats who got out a few times for a walk and he could stroke them and brush them
100% would come again

Lovely field with amazing views it was quiet and away from city life the animals were amazing my daughter loved the rabbits and spent most nights sitting in there pen with them
My son loved the goats and that they roamed free in the day they are very confident and would come up your tent the kids had to be on the look out when I was cooking and found this hilarious
The park was just at the bottom of the field kids could come and go and also to the toilets while it was light
Also plenty of picnic tables to lend if u can carry them
Disliked The wasps but this couldn't be helped because of the sunflowers there was wasp traps by the barn so brought some up and they worked

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked We loved everything about this site. We only stayed for one night, we arrived late afternoon Saturday plenty of space for me and my sister to set up our tents next to each other. Kids had loads of room to play and the park area we could see from our tents so it felt safe enough to let the kids go to the park. Kids loved looking at the animals.
Come evening time it was very peaceful no noise at all and we wasn't disturbed through the night we had a great nights sleep. The lady owner came round twice to see if we was ok and if we needed anything then to let her know. She was very nice and welcoming. And told us what was around the area and the local shops!
Toilets clean at all times.
We will be staying again.

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked We loved everything about Magical Malpas! Our children had a wonderful time, which in turn ment that we did! Beautiful views over Malpas. Our children loved the play barn, the play area and the animals! A family run business, and a really lovely family at that! We all enjoyed our weekend with you and we will definitely be back!
Disliked That the campsite isn't open through the autumn/winter months because we would love to come and stay to take park in the pumpkin picking and visit Santa!

Beautiful back to basics camp site with the added extras of animals!
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Spacious open field with great sense of security! Friendly welcome upon arrival & even had the owners checking that we were satisfied and didn’t need anything in the middle of the stay. Beautiful views surrounding, particularly when the sun was setting & the sunflower field at the back was stunning! Great little play area for the kiddos to run free in - not too far from where you pitch up so well within eye shot, the goats added to the atmosphere as they were very funny and friendly - also 2 donkeys & bunnies. Great toilet facilities, nice & clean. Overall very happy - cannot complain whatsoever with the price you pay! Also an extra special thankyou to the owner for helping me jump start my car in the morning!
Disliked Lack of shower facilities if we were to want to stay longer than a night but there’s absolutely no complaints & I’m sure the owner mentioned in the near future perhaps adapting showers into the mix.
I’d recommend maybe taking something to deter wasps as we did find that the minute we opened a drink of any sort that they swarmed us but this can’t be helped in the fields and is certainly not the places fault.
