Great base for walking and climbing. Suits small groups of tents.
Unpowered grass campervan site
Liked Daniel who ran the site was lovely.
The site was a nice size and the river running along its boundary was lovely.
The showers were a good temperature and had great pressure.
The Yew Tree pub around the corner makes for the perfect restbite from the rain.
Disliked The site is split into pitches, some of which where a bit small and would benefit from being allocated.
Pitches did not easily accommodate a rooftop tent set up.

Liked A very peaceful spot along the banks of a soothing and beautiful river. Descent facilities without giving that feeling of being on a purpose built campsite.

Unpowered grass campervan site
Liked Super views for pitches. Glad to see warm water at the toilets and sinks. A pity the low branches on the way to the motor home area caused damage to the roof of our camper van but thanks to the loan of step-ladders we were able to remove the damaged aerial and had a safe journey home. Also left our collapsible step to get in/ out of the camper. Didn’t miss it until we were home and unpacking last night.Senior moment but just hope someone else can make use of it. Will come back again next year I hope.

Great campsite - would defo return.
Unpowered grass campervan site
Liked Beautiful location with great views.
The campervan pitches are away from the main campsite so even with all the pitches full it was quiet.
Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
Warm showers and clean facilities.
Disliked The toilets are a little way from the camper van pitches which were fine for us but would have been tricky with children. The showers are a 5 min walk away along a road.
The campervan pitches are close to a road but there was no traffic at all on it at night.

Liked Really beautiful setting. Nice peaceful campsite. Friendly owners. Good facilities but walk to shower
Disliked Pitches felt a bit disorganised (tents on van pittches and unable to park van on camping pitches.) Also, some campervan ones were hard to get level on.

Liked Loved the location and generous pitch sizes.
Disliked Mobile service is poor in the area, so maybe a WiFi option would be popular.
