What customers say
This campsite is praised for its stunning mountain views, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent, clean facilities, including hot showers and a useful on-site shop. It's ideal for families, with a great play area and farm animals. Located perfectly for exploring Snowdonia, visitors found pitches spacious and the atmosphere relaxed. Minor points include a narrow access road and occasional WiFi issues.

My favourite camping experience in Wales, outstanding.
Electric grass tent pitch
Liked I can't praise this site enough. Camped with my three children aged 9,12 and 15. All enjoyed the excellent facilities, great atmosphere and the animals. Very child friendly. Staff are very helpful and everything is well organised. Will definitely be booking again for a longer stay.

Definitely stay again!
Electric grass pitch
Liked Nice pitch. Decent space in-between pitches. Great info for walks. Clean site. Park for children. Animals to feed. Clean toilets and shower block. Well maintained site
Disliked Some children running around swearing... more a parental issue than site issue!

Good value for money kids loved it.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Campsite was lovely family oriented place in a great location
Disliked Not enough Showers and Toilets if you are packing it out like that everyday. Had to wait a few times.
Other campsites I have visited are opposite and have more than they should.
Just something to think about going forward

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely review. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay.
Just to mention, we do have two shower and toilet blocks on site, which sometimes get overlooked. We also never overcrowd the campsite — with only 40 pitches, we make sure everyone has the space they need to relax.
We’d be delighted to welcome you back another time.
Regards Len
Helpful and welcoming staff on a beautiful, spotlessly clean site
Electric grass pitch
Liked Loved it here. The site is immaculately clean and well maintained. There are enough facilities that even with what appeared to be fully booked pitches the wait was never too long. Very peaceful and quiet after 10.30 ish in the evening. Easy access to Snowdon and the rest of North Wales with a pub in walking distance. Hope to return one day.

Liked Lovely picturesque location, friendly welcome, good facilities. The children enjoyed the playground and feeding the donkeys.

Beautiful surroundings! Facilities and friendly staff!
Electric grass pitch
Liked Beautiful site! Second time visiting. We visited earliear this year after climbing Snowdon for a day and knew on that visit we would be back! This time spent 3 nights. The site is just stunning, the views are breathtaking: and the staff are so friendly and helpful; this time we walked up moel eilio which you can get to via the campsite. The staff really helped explain the route along with some other walks we maybe interested in!
If you use this site. Do
The walk up to the summit of moel eilio.
The views are amazing: straight across the valley to see Snowdon. Turn the other way and views of angelsey and the coasts. Wow.
The site is great for kids if you have them and the toilets are clean along with the utility area.
We will be back no doubt again to tick off the other walks.

My partner and I loved this…
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked My partner and I loved this campsite (as did my 3 year old)! It’s in such a great location, both for the incredible views of the mountains and access to just about everywhere. We felt we were always 20-40 mins to the places we wanted to be, including Snowdon and the beaches. Lots of lovely local walks. The staff were super lovely and very helpful, nothing was too much for them! The campsite and the facilities were spot on, they were always very clean and had running hot water. There’s taps around the campsite for fresh spring water. The park was a great size and they have donkeys and alpacas to feed! Going with a 3 year old, we were hoping there weren’t too many loud groups at night, but the campsite had strict rules for no fires/noise after 10/10.30pm, so this suited us nicely. Loads of space for the kids to play and very good sized pitches. Would 100% recommend and will be staying here again.
Disliked Nothing!
