Liked: The toilets was well maintained and the shower was great. Worth every penny.
Disliked: It was raining so the pitch was drenched but nothing to much.

Liked: Owners friendly and accommodating. Location is really good.
Disliked: Facilities are really poor and not what you would expect reading the other reviews. The site must have had over 300 people over the bank holiday weekend all sharing a trailer shower block and toilet block consisting of 4 showers and 6 toilet cubicles. There was a constant queue for the facilities. The showers were full of midges, trays were 2” deep in water, changing area in showers was holding water as the trailer is installed in an angle, no where to put you clean items without them getting wet/ dirty from the standing water on the floor. Toilets were disgusting and smelt horrendous, used better portaloos at a festival and on construction sites. The amount of times my daughter went to the toilets and they were nearly overflowing due to blockages is unacceptable. Only one sink for washing up onsite and other campers seem to think it’s ok to leave all discarded food lying in the sink so it doesn’t drain, this is the only point on the site where you can get potable water too so you queue for this and then have to put your container in a disgusting sink to fill it. Not enough waste disposal facilities onsite either, one skip provided was full and had rubbish over flowing, no where to discard ash or burnt logs so these were being tipped all over the site. Had some heavy rain and by the end of Monday the field looked like a churned up race track. It’s a real shame as with some more investment in facilities, a regular cleaner over busy periods and a noise policy so music and car engines are not being revved at 2am and 6am this could be a great site as the location is superb and the views surrounding are fantastic. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

Liked: Great location. River running alongside the camp. Owners very friendly. We got a fire pit for our stay, good value and perfect for camp fires. Ice cream van at tea time was great.
Disliked: Toilet and showers could not cope with amount of people. Needs to be clean more. One pot washing sink. Noisy at night until the small hours.

Liked: Location was absolutely beautiful
Disliked: We have stayed on many campsites and are regular campers. This is the most disappointing campsite we have stayed on. Rubbish left on field the ditch had Stella cans within it. Take away noodles and bits of campfire left abandoned as people went. People didn't bother to walk to skip to to get rid of rubbish. There were ques for the toilets and only 3 female ones and even less male ones for a campsite of 3 fields approx 400 people. The smell was worse than festival toilets. They were not clean. Saw people urinating in bushes. Showers were clean but full of midges No sink outside of loos to clean teeth in The grass left long so full of midges Loud discos until 3 in morning no one stopping noise levels. Also people revving cars throughout the night. Loose dogs off lead Police turned up on campsite Pitching is a free for all.

Liked: Super friendly owners, lovely on arrival and if you needed anything they definitely would have helped in anyone they could.
Disliked: Not enough facilities for the amount of people, needed double the amount of everything -especially pot washing up area.
