Sitting comfortably? Keen to continue that comfort? Then read on to hear about Almafrá Gran Confort in the Alicante area of Spain. You might first be interested to hear that Almafrá Gran Confort is only seven kilometres from busy Benidorm, its Levante Beach and its five nearby theme parks. Laidback folks will probably approve of the outdoor pool (open during high season only) with a spacious terrace and plentiful sun loungers. All guests can take in the tapas, daily menus and takeaway dishes at the site restaurant. Godmothers, mojitos, piña coladas, Sex on the Beach, beers and soft drinks are available at the bar. Almafrá Gran Confort has other facilities such as laundry facilities, a paddle tennis court and a multisports court. The entertainment team also kindly organises themed dinners, summer parties and other events for the full family. For some 'me time', head to the on-site spa (for over 18s only and for an additional fee), where there is a heated indoor swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, cold shower and massage rooms.

喜欢: Fantastic camp site, very clean, well maintained, stunning pool area, reception and bar.

不喜欢: A male member of the reception team was rude in all my dealings with him.
It was a tough day for everybody as Spain, Portugal and France lost its entire electricity network, we had no electric, the toilets didn’t flush and the showers didn’t work, we lost all ability to communicate.
So for all the camp looks good, it was a disaster of a stay so we left and returned home next morning, not the camps fault.

喜欢: very clean site. Staff were friendly,
found travel to various parts of Spain cheap by train a few minutes walk from site.
oh need to mention St George's day ..on site excellent.
nice pool very clean.

不喜欢: Das Hallenbad ist nur für Erwachsene zugänglich, das die Sauna nur für Erwachsene ist kann ich ja nachvollziehen, aber das Bad sollte auch für Kinder erlaubt sein. Besonders bei schlechtem Wetter.

Please note: Almafra Camping is located on a detour to L'Alfas del Pi on the N-332. If you are using a GPS you can locate it by adding the following address: Passeig de la Mitja Llegua, S/N, 03580 - Alfaz del Pí. From the A-7, take Exit 65 signposted Playa de Levante, Benidorm and continue on the N-332 in the direction of Altea (Valencia). After about 4km, take the detour to Alfas del Pi. Go past the railway station (on the left) and continue for approximately 500m. The campsite entrance will be on the left. The campsite is 200 metres from the train station of Alfas del Pi.

You'll probably be rushing off to Benidorm first from Almafrá Gran Confort, and how right you'd be. Restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shops, pubs and the famed beaches of Levante and Poniente are all here, alongside the most modern part of town, the Rincon de Loix, filled with restaurants and nightlife. Watersports and scuba diving (and siestas) can all be had along the beach. Benidorm is also known for the Terra Mítica theme park, which is a 10-kilometre drive away, and for Terra Natura zoo within the same distance. If you want to explore around Benidorm, the town of L’Alfàs del Pi and the beach at L’Albir are a five-minute drive away.
