Koekoek en de Waard in IJlst is a small-scale camping site, suitable for tents, camper vans, and small caravans. The varied green vegetation creates many charming and surprising camping spots. In total, we offer 17 camping pitches: 8 for tents, 4 paved spots for campers/caravans, and 5 camper spots.
The campsite is located along a navigable waterway between Sneek and Heeg, two lively water sports hubs. You can also moor your own boat at our dock or launch it from the harbor. The dock is also the perfect place for a refreshing swim or to watch the passing boats.
Our sanitary building has two separate shower areas with a total of 4 showers and two toilet areas with a total of 6 toilets. There is also a washing machine available for doing laundry.
Outside, our stretch tent serves as a communal space, featuring picnic tables and a bar with two refrigerators for guests.
IJlst is a town with a rich history, home to attractions such as the De Rat sawmill, the Houtstad Museum, and the famous "overtuinen" (front gardens across the street from the houses). By bike, you can reach the heart of Sneek in just 15 minutes.
