Both the Vendée’s coast and its rural areas can be part of your holiday plans when you stay at Camping La Bergerie. This medium-sized site is completely surrounded by countryside, and yet easy access from the D87 means that getting out and about is pretty straightforward, whether you’re heading for the local town (Les Achards, 10 minutes' drive away) or to the beach. The rural atmosphere is strong here – there's plenty of space for kids to run around and play games safely, and they can also visit the farm or follow the nature trail. There’s a selection of outdoor games available for guest use, and a barn has been converted into a sociable common room where you can play board games, borrow something from the library or connect to the wifi. For meals you can embrace the outdoor lifestyle by bringing a barbecue, picking up local drinks and snacks from the bar to serve alongside. It’s open every evening and at its liveliest during the Wednesday themed meals, when guests gather to share local dishes and listen to live music. A bread service means you'll be able to order fresh breakfast items to be delivered to get your morning off to a good start. Filling your days should be easy – there are lots of beaches, country walks and lovely seaside towns to visit, and Puy du Fou is less than an hour’s drive away. This site also has a real ace up its sleeve in the form of a circus school a short walk away, where kids can join morning sessions to learn the likes of juggling and acrobatics.

喜欢: Bonjour, nous avons passé de superbes vacances agréables dans le camping La Bergerie, le côté nature est très agréable et reposant, toilette et douches impeccables, des gens authentiques très serviables honnête et chaleureux, encore une fois c'est un 10 sur 10, ont à même pu choisir notre emplacement ce qui est rare dans un camping, ont peut aller caressé les biquettes, faire des promenades, cueillir quelques mirabelles 🤤 ont est arrivé au bon moment le 13 du mois de juillet, et merci pour les courgettes elles étaient délicieuses. La guinguette a partir de 18h00 tout les soirs c'est top. Plage à une dizaine de kilomètres.
Allez y les yeux fermés vous ne serez pas déçu 😉. En tout cas si ont passe d'autres vacances en Vendée ce sera dans ce camping sans hésiter, merci encore.

If there’s one thing the Vendée is known for, it is of course the beaches – and you'll be in a great position to explore them from here. Les Sables-d’Olonne, Talmont-Saint-Hilaire and Bretignolles-sur-Mer are all within 25 minutes' drive for family beach days and activities, or you can seek out wilder places like Sauveterre (20 minutes' drive). The inland areas are just as excellent, with lots of options for walks, bike rides and boat trips in the Marais Poitevin Regional Natural Park (half an hour) and several places nearby to go fishing or horse riding. Parc accrobranche - Le Grand Défi is an excellent place to visit if your kids would like to get up into the treetops. There are several great family attractions around here, including Le Château des Aventuriers (20 minutes) and O’Gliss waterpark (half an hour) – but for a big day out it has to be Puy du Fou (50 minutes). With a fantastic collection of shows, themed areas and playgrounds, it's one of the most-visited theme parks in France for a good reason.
