At less than five minutes’ drive from sleepy Ladignac-le-Long, it’s far away from mass tourism… in fact, it’s the sort of place where you can take your time, recharge your batteries and make the most of the rural setting. This leafy site offers all sorts of handy family activities, from a playground and pétanque to a games room where you can borrow chess and board games to keep inquisitive minds active. Sporty types can play tennis at the municipal courts or get out hiking directly from the pitches – there’s a trail that leads right around a 10-hectare lake – while anglers cast a few lines in the water.
