Wood Farm Holiday Park

喜欢: Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nice, clean, secured and well maintained swimming pool with clean hot (30°C) water. Clean toilets and showers with hot water. Perfectly located with walking distance from Charmouth town centre and less then 10 min drive from beautiful Lyme Regis.

不喜欢: Cafe should have a choice of locally brewed beers and ciders rather than common types like birra morretti but it's not really a dislike. It's more likely polite suggestion.

喜欢: The pods were perfect, beds were comfy and clean.
Stayed lovely and warm once we worked out how to use the radiator.
Had everything we needed for our 2 nights away

不喜欢: The swimming pool was apparently 30°
It felt more like 15°, had to get out after 15mins.

You can hear the traffic on the main road just outside the park- this is no fault of the park though

喜欢: Cleanliness of pod. Views and surrounding areas of pod. Cleanliness of toilets and shower area.

不喜欢: The showers although clean,we're awful. Especially the first two in the womens block. Twice we went for food at the restaurant attached to the pool and was unable to get food as there wasn't enough, it was an hour and half before closing time. Park was lacking, needs updating and is only really aimed at young children. Shop on site was lacking a lot of essentials. Not a lot to do onsite, but was clean and quiet. Walk to the shower block and toilet wasn't great. I paid for bedding and my friend didn't, we both got it and the bed sheets are not fitted so move constantly.

And internet is way too expensive.

喜欢: Friendly welcome from the staff in reception.
Camping pod & shower/washup facilities were clean.
Whole park was in an excellent state of maintenance.
On-site tennis court & indoor swimming pool were bonuses.
Superb views down the valley.

不喜欢: There was quite a wide gap between the central overlap of the patio doors of the camping pod, even when they were closed & locked. That did let some cold air into the pod early in the mornings.

喜欢: Beautiful place with lovely pubs/ shops in walking distance or a short bus journey.
Showers/ toilets very clean even off season. Would definitely return!

喜欢: The pod, toilets and showers were all nice and clean.
It was easy to book in our swimming session. The changing room facilities were good and clean.
Staff were polite and helpful.
Enjoy exploring the surrounding areas and coast.

不喜欢: The price for using the WiFi was quite a lot, we chose not to buy the package.

喜欢: The premises and accomodation were very well kept and clean, the bath house warm and the showers hot! Lastly and most importantly the reception staff was very lovely and gave good suggestions for the area. As a dog owner, I appreciated that there are two big fenced dog walking areas and the surrpunding area offers a lot of nice walking/hiking options. The little town down by the sea has a dog friendly pub and a lovely little cafe for breakfast or tea and cake. The premises seem to have good recreational areas like a playground and pool, both of which I did not make use of, but they made a good impression.

不喜欢: The noise from the big road was quite present, after a moment however it easily disappears into the background.

喜欢: Amazing place for a relaxed break. Pods are very cute, comfy bed, heating inside. There is a lovely swimming pool, tennis court, ping pong table. There is also a lot of green around so it is ideal if you want to go on walks. If you want to stop by the beach, it is only 5min away.

Overall, everything was just lovely.
