Orchard Springs Campsite

喜欢 We loved our stay here! The showers & toilets were kept very clean. Although we didn’t use the onsite kettle and microwave it was a very nice touch to have and have never seen this on a campsite before. We enjoyed the fresh coffee & pastries in the morning. The site itself was very well kept and the owners were lovely!
We would definitely stay here again.

喜欢 Quite small campsite and very quiet and peaceful. Pitches were large. Shower facilities were very clean and there was a good amount of them for the size of the site.

喜欢 Clean tidy and peaceful, great shower facilities & toilet block. Great field for the dogs to run round along with offerings of croissants 🥐 etc 😉

喜欢 Great facilities with lovely hot water, very clean and plenty of space. Owner very helpful and when there was an issue with another pitch playing loud music, they quickly addressed this.

不喜欢 As the site was quiet, the same family used the space to constantly kick footballs which caused a couple of near misses of people, vans and tents. I see on the website there is a field available for ball games, perhaps they could have been asked to use this.

喜欢 Peaceful location, quiet site, nice facilities, coffee available on site along with croissants cooked to order. Nicely situated for the Camel Trail and other places of interest around Bodmin. Excellent stopover.

喜欢 Everything, nice people running the site great location. Toilets and showers were clean and tidy. Coffee and croissants available in the morning. Free wi fi.

喜欢 Everything! Really well laid out site with mixed camping, static vans, yurt and shepherd’s hut. We appreciated the grass was kept short and that the clippings were collected. A lot of sites leave them and then they get into the van on our shoes!
We also liked the option to order pastries for breakfast and lunch.
The loo and showers were very good too.
A lovely camping environment.

The only thing to mention here is that we couldn’t get a tv signal. It didn’t worry us but if tv is important to you, this may be an issue.

喜欢 We had an amazing stay at the Shepperd's Hut, absolutely loved the experience and it had everything you need. We could have turned up with an empty car and would have been very comfortable. Just bring your own towels.
The hut comes with a fully lined bed, a kitchen counter with an electric hob, a small dining table, all the cutlery, a kettle, a coffee press, even a decent wi-fi. Outside you have a portable firepit and a small bbq (we used it to hold our disposable bbq above ground). You are 10m away from the toilets which is very handy for late at night.
This camp has very good showers and the water is hot 24h which was very convenient for us as we tend to come back to camp very late after a whole day exploring Cornwall. The hosts also offer fresh bakery in the mornings that you can pre-order, we tried the croissants, the sausage rolls and the steak pasty. All delicious and so convenient if you can't be bothered to do any cooking in the mornings.
The campsite is beautifully maintained and just the right size for everything to feel very close no matter where on the camp you stay. We will definitely come back again.
