Families, anglers, keen walkers with dogs – all are welcome for a luxurious glamping break at Hall More Caravan Park. Why choose a spot here? Partly it's down to the location – the site is set in 10 peaceful acres of meadow and woodland (great for exercising your canine chums) near Milnthorpe in the southern Lake District’s scenic Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Need a few more reasons to choose this kid-friendly spot? The well-equipped and cosy glamping units are adjacent to a fly fishery with a lake stocked with carp, tench and roach. Still need to know more? The accommodation all comes equipped with fridges, microwaves and Belfast sinks in kitchenettes and are furnished with proper beds and comfy sofas. You can all get together for drinks and barbecues on the private decking, so there are plenty of creature comforts to keep everybody happy. And as if all of that wasn't enough, guests at Hall More are welcome to use all the facilities at sister site Fell End Caravan Park (five minutes’ walk away), which just happen to include a heated indoor swimming pool, steam room and gym, as well as a bar and restaurant if you’d rather dodge the self-catering route on your glamping break.

喜欢: Clean and quiet. We arrived late and left early due to our travelling plans so didn’t get an opportunity to really explore the area or the site. Electric hook up was an extra charge but to our pleasant surprise there was £10 credit already on our power point.

不喜欢: Showers were not as good as expected push button didn’t last long enough and floor got soaked so there was nowhere to put clothes without getting wet. Need a chair or shelf

不喜欢: This was the only site where electricity was not included. The lovely man at late check in ensured we had electricity as we’d not thought about this. We were very grateful for this

喜欢: Upon arrival the guy on reception was welcoming. The site was easy to find, facilities were clean and good showers. Our motorhome pitch was nice. The site was very quiet, hardly anyone around.

不喜欢: We had the added option of being able to use the facilities at Fell End too. Gave the pool a miss as it was absolutely rammed with kid's. Tried to get a meal there after our drive down from Scotland, to be told "we don't do food Monday- Wednesday." Nowhere on the site did it say that, or we'd have been prepared. 30 minutes walk to the nearest pub that did. Which was fine, but not ideal after a long drive. The wi-fi was only usable at a charge of £6 a day. Left early the next morning feeling a little deflated.

喜欢: Although we stayed at Hall More we were able to make use of the great facilities at Fell End too. The pool and restaurant was great there. At Hall More the toilet and shower facilities were well kept. Would happily return. :)

Close to all the walks and cycling trails of the Arnside and Silverdale AONB, Hall More Caravan Park is also a handy base for exploring Windermere in the Lake District National Park (20 minutes’ drive). Should you be hanging around here for a while, you can easily do day trips to the Yorkshire Dales National Park (half an hour to Ingleton Waterfalls) and Morecambe Bay (20 minutes) as well. The nationally acclaimed RSPB Leighton Moss is another must-see for the chance to spot otters and harriers among the reed beds. If you’re keen to spot as much animal life as possible, the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis (both five minutes) guarantees meerkat encounters in walk-through enclosures. Let the kids run off energy in the seasonal maze at Lakeland Maze Farm Park (15 minutes), lead them down the limestone slabs at Beetham Fairy Steps (five minutes) or treat them to falconry displays and the promise of afternoon tea with ice cream (only if they behave well) at stately Leighton Hall Estate (10 minutes).

严禁明火。
可以烧烤，但必须搭建架子远离地面，且始终有成人看守。
建议住客自行携带高质量手电筒，因为部分营地区域没有照明。

接待处

从01/03到31/10，接待处上班时间为09:00到21:00。

狗
