Brook House Farm

喜欢 We really enjoyed our 3 nights at Brook house farm. We had beautiful views out to sea. It was easy to walk to the abbey and we enjoyed a drink and pizza at the brewery. We were able to also walk into Whitby from the site. It is close to a beautiful beach and to public footpaths. There was a toilet and shower but as there are only 5 pitches and it wasn’t full this was fine. It was lovely and quiet and peaceful.

不喜欢 This has been mentioned before on a review. The toilet seat doesn’t fit properly so it doesn’t stay up which makes sitting on it uncomfortable and difficult.

喜欢 Great views and close to the Abbey, about 20 minute walk.

不喜欢 The campsite is very basic, and facilities weren't kept very tidy. The bin in the toilet was full when we arrived and remained so for a couple of days, so I am assuming that the hand towel hadn't been changed either. I have noticed from other reviews that the owners, who we didn't see , come back with the answer "you should have phoned" when problems have been pointed out. It shouldn't be down to the guests to get in touch, the facilities should be serviced daily by the owner of the site. I think the site was over priced for the facilities available.

来自经理: Hi Anne, I did pop on the site several times while you were here but failed to bump into you.
I do wish you had raised any issues you faced whilst here.
The bin is emptied as and when needed and the showers and toilets cleaned daily.
They are literally a brand new unit so unsure what it is you were looking for.
Mayne better suited to the large commercial sites.

喜欢 The quiet location, beautiful views, and close proximity to Whitby Abbey and town.

不喜欢 Only one toilet/shower. It was not a problem on our stay as there were very few other guests but would be if there were more.

喜欢 loved our stay at Brookhouse farm. Tom met us on arrivaland was very friendly. The view peace and tranquility was priceless. shower and toilet spotlessly clean. whitby caravan site 10 min walk away at most, this has a cafe/bar and a shop. Fantastic coastal walk to the Abbey and whitby 30 mins approx. Cannot wait to return.

喜欢 What a lovely site. So peaceful with stunning views of the coast and Whitby Abbey. You can walk direct from the site and link up with the coastal walk. It took about 20 minutes to walk to the Abbey. The brewery is fantastic, such a great atmosphere.
The site itself is small and friendly. The bathroom pod was great and well stocked. Our dog loved it too. There is no WiFi, which we rather liked as it meant that we had to disconnect.We will definitely be returning.

喜欢 The view and the peaceful atmosphere.

不喜欢 Only one toilet and one shower that was integrated so we had to wait for the toilet on a few occasions. There was no toilet paper on arrival in the evening and it wasn’t replenished until the following day. The toilet seat was flimsy and kept falling down. There was no shelf in the shower to place all washing toiletries and the shower head was difficult to replace and kept falling off at the top. There was no washing up area so we had to struggle bending down to wash up with a tap near the ground. We thought it was very expensive for what amenities there were.

来自经理: Hi Joanne, a simple call or text and I could have topped up the supplies in the toilet block for you in seconds, we only use 5 pitches and during your stay 2 were occupied so not sure the ratio of toilets to guests could have been much improved. in relation to washing up area, we do not adveritse having one so a little unfair to be critical on this point. 喜欢 Brook house farm is an absolute gem. Peaceful, tranquil, a place to totally unwind with breathtaking views. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday then this is the place for you and you also have the bonus of beautiful horses as your neighbours.
A big thank you to Tom and his family we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return.
