喜欢 Nice quiet site. Well kept.. site keepers really friendly, as soon as we arrived there was someone there to direct us straight to our pitch. No hassle

不喜欢 Terrible site full of travellers and drunks, the manager was drinking when we pulled up at 12pm, the site is unsafe for non travellers has eden lake vibes (like a horror movie), the grass tent pitch is crap people just plonk tents anywhere and there's no electricity hookup, there's flies everywhere and the grass is full of nettles, there's 3 toilets for a very cramped site there's nothing to do unless you're an alcoholic .We didn't even last 12 hours we packed up and left because we felt so unsafe, pitch up need to remove this place off their site

喜欢 The site , very helpful , when we couldn't put our tent up , you was left alone to enjoy your holiday to which i liked , it was a lovely clean site well kept

不喜欢 Toilets and showers being so close to the bar , breakfast cafe was only open at 3 days a week thurs ,Fri, sat . And could do with more toilets for the campers rather than 1 built wooden one .

喜欢 The gentleman who I met when I arrived was very friendly and was shown were I could camp everybody there were very helpful. All the facilities are cleaned every morning so very nice. Easy walking into Scarborough and the bus service was very regular to places eg to whitby. I will be returning to to this campsite

喜欢 The area was nice, close to both shops and the beach, views were lovely, toilets were spacious just slightly dated, site was clean, electric hookups worked and were long, adaptors provided, the tent pitches were well kept. So overall the camping site couldn’t be faulted. The man that seen us in was friendly. The whole site seemed to have fine signal to stay connected. We didn’t have children with us but there was plenty around on the Saturday night so it seemed to be family friendly.

不喜欢 Staff were quite unprofessional. We went to change some cash for 20s for the shower there was no one in the building, the young lady working was outside smoking and quite unhelpful and unprofessional. Same goes for the other staff we encountered, they all were shouting and swearing to each other and were just awkward to be around. We didn’t use the bar as it was not dog friendly, something we expected on a site that allowed and had as many dogs. As for the pitch itself there was quite a few rocks in the ground that made pitching a tent a bit of a pain but that is through no fault of the site. On the Saturday night there was a lot of children, which I have no issues with, however they were unsupervised, there was about 12 children playing football around the tents, they were falling over the ropes on our tent, their football was hitting the tent as well as a neighbours, our car and getting very close to hitting both us and our dog, while I also understand the site can’t do anything about this, i don’t think the children should be unsupervised if they are going to be playing so close to people’s tents as something very easily could have been broke or smashed and none of them seemed to care nor their parents to tell them to play in the empty grass away from the tents.

喜欢 The campsite is really well connected to other coastal towns, it’s got a relatively cheap restaurant and bar on site and all of the staff were absolutely lovely (specially the restaurant ladies!). Toilets are very clean (although you’ve got to pay £ 0.20 for 2 min of water) it’s a nice campsite with pretty views of Scarborough castle and the forest behind you.

不喜欢 It is very very loud. They run events like karaoke and bingo until midnight, no real curfew for children running around and adults being drunkily loud. Additionally there’s several horrid peacocks on site that are also quite loud and will try to eat your food. The camping pitch is quite sloped in areas and patchy.
