Falls Park

喜欢 Lovely campsite with beautiful views. Even outside of normal check-in hours there was a courteous text informing of arrival procedure. Most friendly and helpful hosts who are jolly and obviously love their camp-site.
The ablution blocks are key-fob access only (£20 fully refundable deposit), which is great and they are clean, spacious, well planned and fairly quiet. I also had phone reception, which is lacking in other area like Ribblesdale viaduct.
I was part of a group who were all staying in other locations in the area, but staying on my own on a tent pitch there was peaceful and a wholesome experience.
Just a pity then hosts could not have done a sun-dance for our Y3P effort in mostly horizontal rain!
Would highly recommend and thank you Falls Park for a lovely couple of nights :-)

喜欢 The views are amazing and the facilities are modern and clean, the staff are friendly, smily and always happy to help. We did the Ingleton walk also which was stunning. Would definitely stay there again.

喜欢 Campervan pitches are excellent. With electric hook-up. Site is spotlessly clean, very welcoming and peaceful.

不喜欢 Yes the road to the park is tricky but we never encountered another vehicle when we came from Ingleton and the other way does have lots of passing points.

喜欢 The location - great views and super quiet.

Facilities - very clean and modern.

Pitch spaces - very generous.

不喜欢 Some people might not enjoy the steep narrow road to the site - you are warned about this and you can approach the site from the other side.

不喜欢 As mentioned before (nothing to do with site) the road in, its narrow and I mean narrow, Single track …. We were lucky enough not to meet any other cars (phew!)

喜欢 Allocated pitches meant we had plenty of spaces around us.

The facilities were very clean and in very good conditions.

The views were great and loved that the Ingleton waterfalls trail was a stone throw away. We could hear the waterfalls at night and it was so peaceful.

The staff were kind, friendly and helpful.

不喜欢 Only dislike is that you could hear the noise from nearby construction site.

Would also like to have the option of having a camp fire.

喜欢 Great site on the waterfall trail, very friendly owners and immaculate toilets & showers. One of the best kept facilities we have stayed at. The site is very peaceful and well kept. This is our second stay and will definitely be back again. Ordered take away to the porch from the village which was lovely. Enjoyed the waterfall trail and the scenery is lovely. The pitches themselves are big and flat, and if you’re lucky you get a visit from the sheep. Overall an amazing place to stay.

不喜欢 I’m being fussy here, but it’s a long walk to the toilets & it’s not too obvious which way you’re supposed to walk to the shower block. Without signs it felt like we could have been imposing on the owners property / walking the wrong way (we possibly were) Showers need constant pressing of the button to stay on which is only a pain if you have a child you need to do it for. Lights went off when we were in the shower as my daughter took ages and I had to walk out half naked to trigger the sensor, which would have been quite amusing for anyone else if they had walked in! Haha!
