喜欢: Excellent adults only site. Very quiet, small scale but excellent facilities. Shower block was spotless. Lovely underfloor heating and liked having the individual bathrooms.
Pitches are fully serviced. Electric coin meter worked well, the owner Jimmy came to our rescue as we hadn’t brought enough.
Easy access to the site through Stamford Bridge.

喜欢: Electricity deal! It’s cheap as chips, infact it’s cheaper than chips! We were there one night and charged our campervan leisure battery up from flat, used our phone chargers, lights, kettles and air fryer and it cost me 88p!!! Yes - 88p. The meter is shown in my images and is right by your pitch so don’t go overboard in adding £1 coins, take it steady. Don’t be put off by the meter charges. Clean site, clean showers and toilets, very new and safe. Site is very basic, no frills but good. No reception on site, all communication via WhatsApp, all in all it was good.

喜欢: Lovely area and site.Only around a dozen pitches. The toilets and shower block were very clean and new.

不喜欢: The postcode takes you to the front of the farm. Go another 100 yards to the first right turn and you will see the entrance. It is a £1 or £2 coin electric metre so was an extra £7 for one night.

喜欢: Fantastic, very peaceful site. This is now our favourite site and will definitely return.
The coin meter is easy to use and a great idea, just make sure you take £1/£2 coins with you. Pitches are all level and well spaced out, we didn’t use their facilities but checked them out, really nice.

喜欢: Very clean and well maintained site. The owners were friendly and helpful. I cannot comment on the toilet facilities as we used our own but I am sure they will have been pristine. Definitely will return here again.

喜欢: Lovely peaceful site. As always we received a warm welcome from Jimmy & his sister. The family are very acommodating and Jimmy's Dad kindly helped us out with the loan of an electric hookup cable as ours suddenly died on us. Beautiful, clean, modern shower block and laundry. Nice area to explore the local villages and also near to York .

喜欢: Quiet site, fully serviced pitches clean and well maintained, walking the dog round the pond in a morning.

不喜欢: Not really a dislike because it's probably built into the pitch price, the coins into a slot for the electric was a bit of a pain, firstly it was hard to get the machine to accept the coins and secondly for someone who never really uses cash a chip and pin or phone reader would be much better. (I actually had difficulty getting hold of pound coins, shops are reluctant to give you more than a fivers worth and banks and post offices are are virtually non existent. )
