Get yourself a fix of the outdoor life on a family-run farm on Worcestershire's Castlemorton Common – traipse over the Malvern Hills, make for well-preserved Three Counties towns, or just stick around at Roseville Caravan and Camping and watch the animals going about their daily routine. This site is simple and scenic – with basic facilities like an Elsan point and standpipe – and has stacks of dreamy views over the nearby hills. Walks spotting wildfowl around the gorgeous Golden Valley can be accessed within a few minutes on foot, while tours of Eastnor Castle's grounds are a mere 10 minutes away by car. These (and many other) super strolling spots can be readily explored in canine company, but please keep dogs on leads while on site. The site's fresh and grassy grounds are kept in fine condition, helped by the fact that sheep are constantly nibbling away in the background. Arrivals and departures are made that little bit easier by a level gravel track that makes life more straightforward for tourers – and indeed anyone not arriving in a four wheel drive. Roseville Caravan and Camping is within a short walk or drive of four country pubs – the site team will happily point you in the right direction. For a supermarket stop, zip off to Ledbury or Great Malvern (both 15 minutes' drive away).

喜欢: Our second stay here in just over a month and again it really didn’t disappoint. Beautiful surroundings acres of open countryside to explore all with the stunning Malvern hills as a backdrop, what’s not to like?! Spotless site, great WiFi and large pitches everything you could need. Thanks again to Caroline and Simon lovely hosts.

喜欢: Great welcome from Caroline, and learned a lot about sheep rearing and dogs!
It's a great site with direct access to Malverns.
Plenty of walking routes - and a footpath to local inn with good food service.
Easy to access waste facilities.

喜欢: Great little site. Nice and quiet on the edge of a common with plenty of space for the dogs to roam. A good spot for us to visit the Malvern Hills, Ledbury and Great Malvern. Great communication from the site owners.

喜欢: Beautiful location with fantastic scenery of the countryside, hills and sunsets. Ideal for walking and dog walking. Lovely local pub about 15 mins walk via public footpaths. The site was immaculate with all the facilities you would need if you have a caravan or motorhome. Very friendly owners who were only too happy to help. We will definitely be back! 😊

喜欢: Only about 5 pitches so lovely and small, nice and quiet, pretty views of grassland behind the farm. Excellent WiFi. Black water facilities, none for grey but was told just to water the trees with it, so this was nice and easy. Easy to access. Close to lots of walks. Owners seemed to vibe off the people staying, seemed happy chatting away to the people who wanted that but at the same time they left us to do our own thing which we prefer, but was happy to answer questions when we had them.

不喜欢: 1 night we barely slept as there was horrendous banging coming from one of the farm sheds directly behind our pitch.
There was sheep poo everywhere round the site, all by the pitches etc.

喜欢: Really enjoyed my 2 night stay here, the views are amazing, it was lovely and quiet and my dog loved the walks on the common in the mornings. Really friendly hosts, I felt very welcome and its a great spot for exploring the Malverns and nearby Herefordshire. I will definitely be back and hopefully I will get to see Leonard the sheep again :)

喜欢: What a find! This site has lovely views of the hills and next to a large common field, perfect for dog walks. Our 3 dogs loved it. No showers or grey waste disposal onsite but has fresh water and toilet disposal. Owners, Caroline and Simon were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed NY eve and Caroline brought us a bottle of Prosecco and some chocs, very much appreciated. We didn't hear any fireworks all night which was a blessing for our 3 dogs. Definitely recommend this site if you are in the area. We will return 😃

Equestrian competitions, produce shows, flea markets and motor rallies are just a few of the events you can catch at the Three Counties Showground (10 minutes' drive), a rip-roaring rural venue that's well worth checking out. This site's also a nifty base for trips to Welland (five minutes), where once a year in late July some of the country's top traction engines come together and puff their stuff at the Welland Steam Rally. Next, trundle down to Eastnor Castle (10 minutes), a lavishly landscaped estate with a maze, lake and arboretum. Other grand outdoorsy jaunts are to be had at the Brockhampton Estate (35 minutes), an older medieval manor encircled by 700 acres of woodland. History is also thick on the ground in nearby cathedral cities like Gloucester (30 minutes) and Hereford (40 minutes), while strolls around Ledbury's half-timbered houses (20 minutes) make for an equally ace afternoon. Need some ents to please the tiddlers? Hands-on days out at Newbridge Farm Park (20 minutes) are on offer just to the east of Ledbury; a trip to take a dip at Great Malvern leisure centre (15 minutes) is a good shout too.
