喜欢 Nice location, good pub 5 mins walk, flat pitches

不喜欢 Tents were cramped into a small area of the large field for some reason, noisy at night. Only one water tap to service whole site

喜欢 That someone was there to greet us. Friendly owners.
Lovely field.
Night sky.
Close to village pub with good food.

不喜欢 Inconsiderate Behaviour of other campers- noise, flashlamps, music, door banging, leaving toulets unflushed. This could be managed a little better by being more present maybe and talking to campers, and looking that showers and toilets get cleaned more regularly.

喜欢 Peaceful little campsite in a beautiful location.

Showers, toilet and sink facilities on site were just fine, but basic. Although I'd have preferred not to use a portaloo, it was kept in good condition.

Really impressed with the amount of space each pitch had, gives you plenty of privacy. Each pitch has a fire pit.

不喜欢 Some people have complained about the train line running at the end of the site. I bought earlier plugs and I would advise others do the same as the trains carried on until 12pm and started early.

喜欢 Lovely location with excellent views of the hills. Pitches were well mowed - level and easy to pitch up. Good location with local pub a 10 min walk away.

不喜欢 The cleanliness of the site was a disgrace. Rubbish was strewn over some of the pitches. The kitchen facilities were dirty and filled with rubbish. The shower block electricity wasn't working, so no hot water and only one of the showers was hooked up to the water supply anyway. The chemical toilet didn't have any of the blue disinfectant (either run out or the pump not working) and the sluice mechanism was stuck open so the smell in there was gut wrenching. No sign of the campsite owner - I tried calling twice and left a message, but no response. The noise of the trains were tolerable compared to everything else. It could be that the campsite is run well during the main holiday season and everything is kept in order, but my experience was terrible to be honest.

喜欢 Location great- in valley - hills on either side view of Caer Caradoc one side and Long Mynd the other . Flat grassy field with good size areas mown for well
Spaced pitches . Very basic single shower and single portaloo but plenty of hot water for shower and covered washing up
Sinks. Train track at bottom
Of site don’t bother us at all!

喜欢 Lovely views, facilities were basic but everything that we needed.

不喜欢 The campsite is not sheltered so better to avoid if it is very windy.
