喜欢 The friendly welcome, the gorgeous 16th century pub, the beer and excellent food, the level site, the tap at every pitch, two Elsan points, nice clean shower block and loo ( you can also use the pub loo 24/7) the quiet location.Just perfect.

不喜欢 Leaving.After 24 years of camping we have found the perfect site.We will be back very soon.

喜欢 Shower and bathroom were really clean. We all had our own separate taps on our plots with our number. Everyone very friendly.

不喜欢 Did not get much sleep at night got woke up for five times with dogs, howling and barking at the farm Next Door

We're very sorry that the noise from the dogs at the farm next door disturbed your sleep. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to be woken several times during the night. Unfortunately, the dogs are on a separate property and the noise is outside of our control, but we do appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

喜欢 Easy access to the site, clear instructions on arrival. Site was clean and tidy with good size pitches. Water and electricity available on all pitches. Toilet facilities were not too far away and very clean. Level ground. Food available in the old traditional pub which was good.

不喜欢 The toilet and shower facilities were laid out in such away that there was potentially little privacy when getting washed and changed. The area was very small and would only accommodate one person at a time.
The dogs whining in the pound next door was quite distressing at times and very loud. Totally appreciate that it is not the campsites fault and out of their control, but still a factor when staying.

We're really pleased you found the site clean and tidy, the pitches spacious and level, and the arrival process straightforward. It's also great to hear that you enjoyed a meal in our traditional pub.

We were a little surprised by your comments regarding privacy in the toilet and shower facilities, as all of our individual toilet and shower cubicles have locks on the doors to provide privacy. However, we appreciate your feedback and will certainly take your comments on board.

We're also sorry that the dogs next door disturbed you during your stay. As you mentioned, unfortunately this is outside of our control, but we completely understand that the noise can be upsetting when you're trying to relax.

喜欢 Proximity to pub, although if the beer garden was full it could be noisy. Food in the pub was very good and the staff very helpful and friendly. The site wasn’t too busy when we stayed but if it was full the single ladies toilet and shower could mean a wait. Facilities were fine and very clean. Short drive to Bridgnorth, preset town with a busy market on Saturdays. Much Wenlock a pretty village about 15/ 20 mins drive away worth a visit. WiFi good in the Pub, phone signal ok but not fast

As for the beer garden, we are a working 16th Century Inn, so when the weather is good and the beer garden is busy, there can naturally be some atmosphere and noise — particularly as many of our camping guests enjoy being able to relax and have a drink just a few steps from their pitch! 🍺😊

不喜欢 Poor setup on waste water and toilet waste, poorly constructed wood frame falling apart and toilet waste not to any standard.
Dog friendly in pub but no proper area for dog walking in the area.

We are sorry to hear that you felt there was no suitable area for dog walking. We do, in fact, have a 3-acre field available for guests to exercise their dogs, including off-lead walking. We’re disappointed that you didn’t get to make use of it during your stay, although we do wish you had asked a member of the team, as we would have been very happy to point you in the right direction.

We’re also sorry you were unhappy with the waste-water and toilet waste facilities. We take this feedback seriously and will review the areas you have mentioned.

喜欢 A convenient, clean and quiet site. It was a bonus to call into the bar for a cold pint after a long and hot journey. The staff friendly.

不喜欢 The pitches are quite narrow. Sad that though real ales were advertised as an incentive there was only one on offer, and (a small issue but worth a mention), I was disappointed that my meal came with bog standard frozen chips as opposed to the more appealing "skin on fries" advertised, but then our neighbouring diners were given them.

Regarding the real ale, you’re absolutely right that we usually advertise a wider ale offering. However, during the current heatwave we’ve seen a significant shift in demand towards our super-chilled draught beers and cider. To make sure the ale we do serve is always in the best possible condition and turnover remains fresh, we’ve temporarily reduced the range to one real ale.
