不喜欢 We actually left after only 20 minutes of arrival.😔
The campsite was heaving! Everyone was crammed in.
The pitch was slanted and we were not accommodated when we asked to move, even though there were empty spaces.
It was very loud, children running everywhere, dogs barking and overall, just not for us.
Wouldn't recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful or relaxing experience but probably great for young families travelling with other friends who are happy with and wanting an extremely sociable break.

来自经理: This is upsetting to hear, we accommodate all types of bookings, people , pitches and more. We’ve added on our website in several places including on the booking application that you can request a specific pitch referring to our site map, you can also put in specific requests such as “flat pitch” or “quiet pitch”. We don’t hide the fact that we accept children, familes , groups and dogs. Apart from one day in our entire season every single booking has respected our noise curfew time of 10.30pm , again this is given to our customers before they book and after they book. We also mention that all of our pitches are pre allocated, so although when you arrived you may have seen empty pitches more suited to your requirements these would of been reserved for customers who have informed us of specific requirements. I think having all of this knowledge to hand whilst still booking and then leaving us a 1 star review is a little unfair, we’re working so hard in making this an amazing campsite but every customer is entitled to their opinion and we welcome all honest reviews as it gives us suggestions and ideas of excelling. Going off your review I think we will ask pitchup to add more information to their listing.

喜欢 Pitch had everything we needed ie privac electric etc. Short walk to the toilets and shower block. Handy little shop and cafe.

喜欢 I would definitely recommend Cotswold Camping. Staff are helpful and firendly. Lovely pitches. Great for familes with young and older children, also great for Couples.

Ideal location to explore the Cotswolds. Lovely onsite Cafe/bar, Art Gallery to visit. The Cauldron Cafe also offers a unique afternoon tea experience (booked in advance)

不喜欢 You do need to take your own toilet roll. The shop is only open at certain times or when you call the office

喜欢 Well laid out park, easy access to electric. Great location. Clean shower and toilet.

不喜欢 For a site as big as it was, you would have thought there would be more showers.

喜欢 Great play forest part for children. Friendly staff and great facilities - toilets were spotless and have obviously been recently renovated. They had a rent a fire bowl service. Loved the cauldron cafe. Was all very cool - thanks all for a lovely stay ,!

Showers sprayed everywhere other than on your body unless you held it with your hand whilst trying to wash and push button.
Dog shit in park ended up all over my daughters bike and clothes

Thanks for your review. We’re really upset you found the toilets dirty, this year we’ve employed an extra cleaner and so far this year every single review across all platforms have mentioned just how clean the toilets are. In fact we’ve gone above and beyond to really make them spotless. Obviously with kids, rain and mud , they can become messy but being cleaned at least twice/three times per day they should always be tidy.

We have 16 showers on site and I’m aware of one shower head breaking , obviously if this is the one you’ve used the water pressure is going to send it everywhere. The new shower head holder is on order.

As for the dog mess , it’s truly unacceptable. We’ve actually for the first time since opening started charging for dogs. This is to pay someone to walk the site once per day and check for any mess left by irresponsible owners. We actually encourage all our customers to report and dog mess immediately, we have a zero tolerance approach to owners leaving their dog mess and not picking it up. If anyone is found to be doing this , they are asked to leave immediately with no refunds.

A good 90% of customers are responsible and leave no trace but if you have one or two irresponsible owners staying for more than one day it can have a negative effect. The warden as much as he tries can’t find every single one that may be on the ground.

Which is why it’s so important to report it as soon as possible.

喜欢 Good pitch sizes and facilities on site with easy access to walking routes in the area. Showers and toilets were clean

不喜欢 Longer walk to the facilities from the pitches including access to water taps
