喜欢 The pool. And the playground.

不喜欢 Quite a few things. There was only one hook with three pegs in the showers. Nothing to put your glasses on for example. The toilets were not clean. I think because of the many children that stayed.
What i disliked most was the lack of wifi. With the money you pay per night you would at least expect wifi. It was the most expensive stay per night that I have ever had in the whole of Europe.

喜欢 The peaceful atmosphere.
Tents were lovely and cosy.
Lovely space for the kids to play.
Food vendors were nice.
Really well stocked shop.
Lovely play area.

不喜欢 Swimming pool opening hours, need to be open longer.
Beds were a little hard.
Needs its own shower block/ toilets/pot washing in the field.
Such a shame campfires arent allowed 😟(best part of camping for me)

喜欢 The friendly helpful staff around the site. The bell tents where we’ll set up and clean. The whole site is clean and tidy.

喜欢 Location, friendly staff, shop, pool, small touring / camping area

不喜欢 Really bad phone reception and wifi only if you stood outside the shop.
Toilet block wasn't very well looked after.

喜欢 Lovely views and modern facilities, good play area.

不喜欢 Sloped touring pitches under trees so not much sun. Pool has to be booked, not much availability and shuts early. Toilets hardly cleaned, bins overflowing and always toilet paper on the floor. Rules not enforced, kids on electric bikes and scooters and dogs roaming off lead occasionally fighting!

喜欢 Lovely staff very friendly and helpful. There were food trucks on site to help with our meal choices it was clean and provided us with everything we needed.

不喜欢 The guy on the tractor at 8am on a bank holiday Monday

Good play area
Small swimming pool on site

不喜欢 Surly staff .. not welcoming.. on arrival just told ‘it’s all on the leaflet’ when asked some basic questions
Not even a smile from staff
One porta cabin toilet block ( cladded to look nicer) bins overflowing & rubbish not removed.
Grass pitches very close together
& un even
Some disrespectful campers which didn’t help… but that’s not the sites fault

No windbreaks or gazebos allowed ( although people did use them )

Looks nice as arrive .. especially the caravans & camping pods .. but touring area felt like an afterthought

喜欢 Lovely campsite, it is very well maintained with plenty of room between tents. We camped in Dale View which was perfect for us as away from the main area but close enough to the toilets and showers.

You can have a car free day and spend all day on site making use of the park, pool and access to Tissington Trail.

不喜欢 Need more washing up stations for campers
