Från föreståndaren: Hello Mary and thank you for your review which has some disappointing aspects for us.
We are unsure why you have uploaded this particular photo of a residential house in the town as it has nothing to do with the Aire. The pub associated with the Aire is Tom Malones Pub and Markethouse which is located at the other side of the Street, it houses a Chinese restaurant and an Italian restaurant and offers 10% discount to all guests of the Aire. If I were you I would consider removing the photo of the residential house from this website as it was uploaded without their permission.
Secondly and again just to reiterate our site is an Aire de Services, in other words not a campsite but an Aire with basic facilities that means basic toilets which are cleaned several times daily however we cannot account for guest behaviour in the bathrooms between cleaning unfortunately!

While you do not state what the problem was with the Wifi we can absolutely state that the coverage is excellent, in fact we have had guests who have 'worked from home' using the Wifi onsite so we are unsure what the issue was. You give 2.5 for child friendliness but we dont know what this was based on as you didn't have children with you?

It would be great to know what your expectations of an Aire de Services were or are and then we could bend over backwards to accommodate!

Tyckte om Owner was so friendly, gave us the run down of all the restaurants, pubs, cafe. We went to his restaurant, food was really lovely. It's a perfect Aire for a stop over, or adults only. Nothing there for the kids so we spent the day on the beach which was a 2 min drive down the road. All in all a great little spot.

Från föreståndaren: Oh we are so disappointed with this review. Devastated to say the least. Yes Toilets are basic and that is because we run an AIRE...derived from the French term...AIRE de Services...a basic site with basic services. You should be aware of this term if you are French!!!. We do not advettose as having showers, actually we clearly state in our DESCRIPTION NO SHOWERS!!!! so raising it as a negative is unacceptable.
If you had a poor experience with our AIRE then we can deal with this but blaming our village of 700 people is not right. We are a small rural village with a great community heart, we welcome people, we chat to people, we are kind...something maybe you should think about.

Tyckte om Close to town, lots of space, clean toilets (they’re painted blue and almost pink).
The owners are really nice and helpful, and went to extra effort to get me bus information.
The description is spot on - read it carefully and you won’t be disappointed. Good value for money.

Tyckte inte om Electric hookups only 6a (as described) so my van’s water heater and heating needed gas/electric mix for me to have hot water and heating. Not a complaint just didn’t like it.

Tyckte inte om Crikey, where do I start? No code for the gate. Couldn’t find the bathrooms. They were only naked by the color of the out side. Not near pub and when we found it, it was a Chinese takeaway. It had nothing to do with the camp ground. We were the only ones there and for good reason. Lol

Från föreståndaren: Thank you for your review, which I think is somewhat misleading. There is a code for the security gates, but you have to check in first to access thd code. Once a guest arrives it is clear that the guest has to phone the manager who then allows remote access and gives the guest the gate access code. This is standard practice.
I'm afraid you need an eyesight test if uou couldn't see the bathrooms, as they and the office are the only buildings on site. Are you sure you should be driving a campervan? The Aire and the pub are owned by one and the same person...so there is a connection! If you stay in the campsite you get a discount at the Italian Restaurant operating from the pub or you can get a Chinese takeaway...whatever your fancy.
Finally just because a place is quiet does not reflect poor service.
