Понравилось Very peaceful and spacious, with nice views, with a reasonable pub a mile away. Dark skies and quiet as well. Friendly and very helpful host, and goats too (but not as helpful as host!) Clean and fragrant (in a nice way!) portaloos.

Не понравилось Could do with a sink for washing dishes, ideally with hot water. No showers or washing facilities either, but it's early days and I'm sure this will happen in the future.

The whole field is on a slight slope but not so much as to cause us trouble.

Понравилось Great location,very quiet and peaceful with wonderful views,spotless facilities and a great price,but for me the best part is the young lady,Gemma,that owns/runs the site she is so upbeat and passionate about the little piece of paradise that she’s creating it’s a joy to see. I can highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning. It’s a 10/10 from me

Понравилось This is a gem of a site. For anyone looking to properly unwind this spacious site is ultra-quiet, un-busy, un-hurried, has a warm and mellow vibe, lovely woodland views and just the sound of bird life to complete the picture. Its rustic nature may not be for all, but I believe this simply adds to its charm and homely feel which will attract visitors just looking for original, authentic camping with a nostalgic feel, and without all the bells and whistles to detract. If anyone needs to connect to the outside world, mobile WiFi signal is strong.

Gemma is very inviting and could not have been any more helpful or friendlier, making us feel at home straight away. She introduced us to her awesomely sweet pet goats... and they truly are, as are the little piglets we discovered at the bottom end of the field! On asking for a firepit and some wood, Gemma actually brought them over to us herself - a nice, hospitable touch.

This is the sort of site that, once discovered, it leaves a warm and lasting impression and puts a smile on your face when you leave making you vow to return again and again...and we certainly will.

Понравилось What a wonderful campsite! I stayed for 2 nights over the August Bank Holiday and the weather was glorious. It’s wild camping so you choose your own place to pitch your tent and settle down for a relaxing break.

Gemma greeted me on arrival and made me feel really welcome. There are 2 portaloos on site which are kept incredibly clean and plenty of loo roll.

There are sheep and goats in nearby pens which just adds to the charm of the place. If you are bringing dogs be aware of this!

Fire pits and wood provided if you need them.

The village is a short walk away and the pub 15 mins.

I highly recommend this gem of a campsite, no traffic noise, clean, tidy and fabulous hosts!

Even better we met the lambs and the sheep bought some fresh eggs and had a fantastic time can’t recommend enough

Понравилось Small site but it felt big with all the open space. Gemma the owner was super lovely, very chatty and made us feel very welcome. She recommended sooner local pubs and walks for us, and let us spend some time with her goats which was super cool. Had an amazing time and I highly recommend this site

Понравилось Host Gemma is amazing. Nothing too much trouble. Her attention to detail is outstanding. Best kept porta loos ever! Clean, plenty of loo roll, hand sanitizer, air fresheners and even lights in the evening.
The goats were delightful.
