Gostou The pool is beautiful, with fabulous views. The pitches aren't too close together, although they vary with respect to how level they are. Toilets and showers (plenty of hot water) are clean, although there's a slight eccentricity with respect to toilet roll not being available in the cubicles, you have to take how much you want before you go in. It's a quiet site with a bit of aircraft noise during the day from Nice airport. Free shuttle bus runs to the mediaeval village of Vence during the day, well worth a visit. Lots of washing up facilities (cold water only). The restaurant onsite is very good, although best to make a reservation to ensure it's open as opening times seem variable (possibly due to the fact that we visited in mid Sept, near the end of the season. Staff were friendly, and I think that attempting to speak French to them is appreciated, although good English is spoken on reception.

Não gostou Can't put these as strongly as dislikes, more comments - there's an odd arrangement whereby the electricity is available via a locked box, so you have to ask for it to be opened to hook-up/un-hook. The onsite shop has very little stock although bread/croissants etc can be pre-ordered the day before and this works well. Shop/pool close for a couple of hours during the day, although this wasn't enforced at the pool while we stayed (a benefit of staying later in the season, perhaps?) Unless you have children who like walking, cycling etc there's not much especially for them, this didn't bother us as we don't!

Thank you to have tell us your experience.
For electricity it is our history, the campsite is over 70 years, and when it was created as the system is working, and accepted by the security administration we have not changed,it is good for the nature; we know that in the new campsite the system is different.
We agree for the shop but as it is rented they do not hear our advice, but you can let yours on their instagram account @lecabanonvence (the same people manage the restaurant and the shop. For the young children we have a playground or the older also fitness area, for animation only in July and August.

Gostou Good location and very peaceful. The pool was very nice.

Não gostou Hand soap for the toilet sinks would be nice. The shop was also very sparse.

Soap we just put during covid and the year after, no problem with the covid but the year after it was terrificso we have taken off.
For the shop we know but as it is rented it is very difficult to tell them how to manage, you can on instagram @lacabanonvence

Gostou Everything :) very clean site and facilities, and plenty of them. Great restaurant and bar. Check in quick and organised.

Gostou Un cadre exceptionnel au calme et en pleine nature.
On peut réellement "déconnecter".
Les emplacements " sans point électrique" sont assez grands pour la tente et garer sont véhicule
La belle piscine avec un vrai bassin.

Gostou Luogo molto tranquillo, immerso nella natura, molta ombra e spazi dove poter stare all’aperto. Personale del campeggio gentile e disponibile. Bagni puliti, piazzole spaziose e ottimo il servizio navetta.

Gostou The campsite is in a stunning area with great pitches. The shower and toilet facilities were very clean and loads of them so there was never any waiting.

Não gostou There were two pool guards working alternate days so one day there was a nice atmosphere at the pool and on the other it was awful he argued, he manhandled people, even when you knew to take your shoes off (which everyone both new and old did as there were signs) he would aggressively tell you, so many times, pointing and shouting. He argued and upset people every day not very relaxing for people at all.
The shop was practically empty of goods and the staff so rude you never knew when they were going to stop taking bread orders for the next day or if he’d just seemed to take a dislike to you.
The restaurant staff were rude and over charged us €25 which we did get back but only after arguing the point!
If you’re looking for a friendly site this one is not for you very rude staff, with a few exceptions.

We are sorry that you do not get the experience you were waiting.
We are very sorry but the price you knew in advance, as the rules you received in advance.
We know that the registration form seem to be as the customs paper but for us it is compulsery for security reasons we are in a forest with a risk of fire. it was very helpful in 2016 after terrorism in Nice to know immediatly if someone was lost.
It would help us if you could tell us or write in your report the services you were looking for and did not find here.

Gostou Het is een prima camping. Sanitair wat verouderd maar wel schoon. Zwembad ook prima en plekken met veel schaduw.

Não gostou Redelijk stug en moeizaam ontvangen, winkel gaat te vroeg dicht (ze houden zich niet aan de tijden), met (grotere) camper is het niet echt een handige plek (al gaat er wel een gratis bus naar Vence); voor oudere kinderen is het niet echt een passende camping.
