The Paddock

Gostou: The campsite owner was very welcoming upon arrival. Great location and very clean, excellent facilities. Will definitely be coming back to stay in the summer.

Gostou: On arrival we had a warm, friendly welcome and directions to our generous sized pitch.
This campsite is a hidden gem and excellent for camping with carefully thought out added luxuries. The toilet/shower block is immaculate and regularly checked, a super washing up area is close by which has chilled drinks for sale via an honesty box (so take cash, as you will want to purchase something!)... icecreams and homemade apple crumbles (which are so delicious we wanted to purchase more to take home with us).
Neil is on hand should you have any problems and strives to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves.
The village pub is a short, easy walk away with a good menu at very reasonable prices.
In the evening a huge firebowl next to picnic benches is lit and provides a wonderfully magical area which we chatted with other campers and unwound before retreating to bed.
A peaceful night's sleep under the stars was had.
There are lots of footpaths and little lanes straight off from the campsite which was ideal for walking or dogs.
Thank you Neil, Mandy and Pepper, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and meeting you, you have created a lovely campsite which you should be very proud of.

Gostou: Everything, fabulous little site, Neil, the owner was delightful and very helpful, we were lucky enough to be the only guests at the time so had the place to ourselves,
Very well kept & clean loo / shower rooms though only 2, could be busy with more campers but Neil is in the process of building more. Many thanks

Gostou: Flat site, easy to find, bus stop close by to go in to Glastonbury 20 minutes, a pub nearby. Clean facilities.
Very friendly and helpful owner who went out of his way to help with local information.
Lovely birdsong in the morning!

Gostou: Lovely small site that is well located for Glastonbury and Someton run by a very friendly owner, Neil who could not do more to make our stay enjoyable. Great facilities that are well maintained with nice, spacious, flat pitches.

Gostou: What a great little site We had such a warm & friendly welcome when we arrived The pitches are flat, the toilet & shower facilities and washing up area were lovely and very clean with plenty of hot water The converted horse box was very cute & made a lovely feature with picnic tables for people to use Fire pits were available to use although we didn’t use one on this occasion It’s in a great location to explore Glastonbury & Wells and the surrounding area. We wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back later on in the year Thank you

Gostou: Just spent 3 nights at The Paddock camping as a solo female.
An absolutely beautiful site with the most welcoming owner.

I had pitch 8 right at the bottom as I'd requested a quiet one and I was able to park my car right next to my tent.
Neil the owner was so helpful and let me use an extension for my electric hook-up.
The site was so peaceful even when quite busy, and at night, you could hear an owl hooting; it was so relaxing waking up to hearing the birds in the morning.

The toilets and showers are both immaculate and modern, and there are picnic tables to sit and a funky horsebox.

There is a bus stop about every hour into Glastonbury; you turn right out the campsite and walk about 3 minutes to the stop near the monument. (You catch it on the opposite side of the road to go into Glastonbury.)

The pub just a few minutes walk away does great food and my ploughman's lunch was lovely. (I'm amazed Neil doesn't get any commission for the amount of campers that use it!)

Driving into Glastonbury takes about ten minutes and I managed to get a parking space Beltane bank Holiday weekend on both the Saturday & Sunday.

I can't wait to return.
