the scenery is great with the view of the Downs and the Sea from this site.
we have checked the doors and they do lock, if you try to open the door after locking then you would find that they don't open, sorry that the shower light didn't work for you.
we have also checked the light, it does work, the problem is that some people leave the light on after a shower and as they are solar powered they run down and don't recharge in darkness, however we will look into this and see if we can improve this, thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Gostou Staff very friendly, cared about the guests and cleanliness of the site. Breakfast food was excellent.

we do what we can for our customers, we have actually sampled the products and they are excellent quality at competitive prices.
we actually don't accept large groups because we do value that our customers appreciate the peacefulness of the site.
unfortunately some large groups do book their pitches separately under different names as in normal small booking only to get together after they have arrived, which is not possible to control. however we do monitor the site to do security checks and make sure there is no music on after 9pm which is a site rule.

there are great views of the Downs and the Sea from this site, with walks and places to visit, as well as only 15 minutes away from Newhaven ferry port.
unfortunately there is no electricity on this site, so not able to provide wifi, however you can actually get 5G on your phone from this hilltop depending on your phone provider, so most people connect their laptop to their phone hotspot.

we do try to promote this site as a peaceful stay but we do occasionally get the odd ones that that don't respect others, we do have a No Music policy after 9pm which we monitor along with the security of the site.
we have improved the toilet block with the toilet flushes on a separate system, and we are looking to improve them further, any thoughts and ideas are welcome, good or bad, as we do want to improve the site as much as possible.
please do feel free to voice your opinions an any subject about the site.

Gostou Really pleasant few days at Stud Farm. Good basic amenities. Such a simple rule to take your rubbish home means the site is clean and no scavenging seagulls! Large pitch with great views. Helpful friendly staff. A great day out = easy 30 min walk down to Saltdean - enjoyed the lively art-deco lido (lovely coffee and food in the restaurant); also a quiet dip in the sea just minutes away; sea view supper at the Smugglers Rest and back to the site.

taking your rubbish away does keep the pitch prices as low as possible, many thanks.
everyone does appreciate the views of the Downs and the Sea and the places to visit along with good walks, is also close to Newhaven ferry port, 15 minutes away.

yes the views are lovely with the view of the Downs and the Sea, and lovely views on the many walks.
we do also welcome ideas on how to improve the site, although the site is small we do have very generous sized pitches at over 10 x 10 meters per pitch.

Gostou It was really lovely spot with fantastic views. The owner was a really nice chap and gave us good advice on how to cycle to Brighton. Showers and toilets were really clean and never had to wait for them. There was loads of walking trails and bicycle trails

Gostou Beautiful location, fire pits for rent, horses and sheep nearby, walking distance to the sea and a nice pub! Would definitely recommend 😊

Não gostou Toilets were always busy but it's school holidays and there was a big group of travellers so not surprising and it was manageable

Do gerente: Thankyou for your feed back, yes the beautiful locations with the downs and the sea in view, we can get very busy at the weekends because its a popular area for walkers and close to newhaven ferry port.

Gostou This excellent site, quiet with good facilities but, best of all, obliging with nothing too much bother, even helping us Jump start our van when it had a flat battery and making sure we were able to make our early morning ferry. Can’t thank them enough or recommend them more highly enough. G&D Mackie
