Withernsea Sands Holiday Park

Gostou Can’t fault this park! Everything was fantastic for us! We had a lovely time away with our 8 year old grandson & dog In our campervan We pitched up at 43 big large pitch.. You see & hear the seagulls but they were never a problem for us! And I’m so afraid of Birds 🤦🏼‍♀️
Showers & toilets were clean every time we used them. We didnt go to the entertainment so can’t comment! But I’m sure they would of been great.. We did the arcades and swimming etc.. Our grandson was more interested in enjoying playing outside in the football pitch and outside it with the other children..
Withernsea has a Tesco & Aldi and great charity shops! The beach front had the showground rides and big bouncy castle like 5 mins away in car 😊 And the best ice cream shop on the left as you leave the play park 😊 Serving black vanilla ice cream that obv are grandson loved.. Owner was so lovely and even gave him extra napkins 🤣 plus a sweet as we left super friendly and dog friendly..
We went to (Spurn point ) which was about 20mins away! Quiet but beautiful beach area for dogs to run and kids to explore under the stones for crabs 🦀 etc.. And lovely clean toilets at carpark in

Gostou Helpful staff on reception and location for Withernsea and beach was fab, pitch was good nice and flat

Não gostou The toilet and shower block was grim - never any soap and sometimes ran out of loo roll. Felt cleaner before going for a shower

Gostou Plenty of space for tents and cars, you don’t feel pend in if it’s busy.

Não gostou The toilet/shower blocks!!!! Not particularly clean. No hand wash because people stole them and they were not replaced.

Não gostou Absolutely disgusting shower/toilet facilities, I have never stayed on a site as smelly before it was disgusting!!! Even going for a wee I was Gipping so glad we only stayed 1 night on there

Gostou Decent size pitch, lots of green space for kids to play.
Others have mentioned the facilities, they are fine mostly clean although a little run down..it’s camping not a 5star hotel!
The entertain was good kids loved it which is the main thing, food in the bar is also good. We managed to get on to swimming both days, (que a littler earlier to guarantee getting in if haven’t booked on) the site also accommodates placing us together as we were traveling with groups of friends

Gostou Nice location and decent facilities to use inside main building.

Não gostou Seagulls are a big issue noisy and trying to steal food.
Toilets and shower block were very smelly and not clean very off putting. I couldn’t get my small daughter to use them.

Não gostou Very little privacy due to wide open area and no hedges. Sanitary is long due for renovation. It was very smelly and not clean althowe the site was not fully booked. Tot high priced for what u get. No free wifi!

The entertainment is boring and the entertainment needs work better entertainers.
The cost of food is expensive, and activities needs more bookable spaces
Paid £160 for the weekend and very disappointed
