Ik was blij met Large pitches fully serviced best shower units we have ever come across. Warm welcome on arrival and welcome pack was a treat . Very peaceful site once through the gates .

Ik was niet blij met Have to say the noise from the road wasn’t good but I suppose you get used to it after a while but was very busy at times and crossing became a sport . Possibly would have liked a dog walking area .

Ik was blij met Small site with 18 fully serviced hard standing pitches, excellent sanitary and shower facilities, friendly staff and cheerful welcome plus small gift pack on arrival. Bus stop for Ludlow or Shrewsbury about 20 mins walk if you’re slow.

Ik was niet blij met Could do with some dividing hedges and a few trees but new site so still time. Very close to busy A49 and gravel loading site so ear plugs useful especially at night.

Ik was blij met Wow, lovely immaculate site. A credit to the managers. Very easy to see why they have won the Loo of the year award. Will definitely return. Very knowledgeable managers who recommended what to do in Shrewsbury and how to get there by bus.

Ik was niet blij met Very very small dislike. Site next to a quarry and constant noise between 8am and 4:30pm but please don’t let this stop you booking. It is bearable and not the sites fault.

Ik was blij met Beautifully clean site. Toilet block is immaculate, all facilities are spot on. Owners are brilliant.

Ik was blij met Toilets and showers. Immaculate. Nicely spaced cubicles, very private. Managers on site helpful and very friendly. Security very good, 2 barriers with code. Whole site nice and clean, well spaced pitches.15 min walk to village, noisy road but the horshoe pub couldnt be more welcoming, lovely staff, food really good, short walk home. Butchers in village shut down but only 20 min drive to nearest sainsburys.

Ik was niet blij met Proximity to VERY busy a49. We were intimidated on cycles on main road. No screening between pitches, it would help with road noise. Quarry type buisness next door mildly noisy but started at 7.30 on2 days....too early for us.

Ik was blij met Everything ... I cannot fault anything. The shower block is the best I've seen. The little bag of tea and coffee given out at the check-in, nice touch !!

Ik was blij met Staff welcoming, facility block always clean and well maintained, complimentary laundry room nice touch although not used, free bags of ice provided great for hot weather.

Ik was niet blij met Can hear the busy main road, occasional train service and equipment being used at near by business.
Charged for awning but unable to secure with pegs due to solid ground, fortunately no high winds.
No hedges between pitches so didn’t feel very private, exposed to sun most of the day.

Ik was blij met The washroom facilities were outstanding, the small adult only site was clean and well maintained with lovely level pitches. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. Amazing pub just up the road offering good value high quality food.

Ik was niet blij met Unfortunately there was no shade and with temperatures around 30 degrees it was too hot to sit outside. The road was busier than we had anticipated and so was quite noisy.

Ik was blij met I have to say first of all this is a return to this site because they made me so incredibly welcome last year. This site is near to family and so I visited on my own as my adult kids / O H don't always have availability to come on family visits these days. This is a very secure site with a double gate and barrier. There is CCTV.

My van is usually one of the smallest on the site- because there are some really fancy big vans I think the security needs to be top notch. Because of the big fancy motorhomes, I seem to be having the very nice toilet and shower facilities to my self along with just a couple of other people with smaller vans.

Do remember to take some very sharp pegs with you.. hard hard standing ...
I asked for a pitch by the water which was nice but only suitable for the smaller vans.
The staff owners are incredibly kind and helpful. The place is spotless. It's quite new and you can see that a lot of thought has gone into it.

It is on the main road but that suits the big camper vans as lots of the roads around there are very small without passing places. There is a bus on the main road but it is a 10 to 15 minute walk along the road. The campsite is situated between two interesting places of Shrewsbury and Church Stretton.

Awning friendly but no tents.... awning has to go on the hardstanding so bring mats. There is grass for sitting out.
