Banish any visions of a stressy holiday stuck in hot cars and slow traffic out of your head… At North Shore Holiday Centre, a family-friendly Lincolnshire site 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Skegness, you won’t have to travel far to stay busy once you arrive. North Shore is on the outskirts of Skegness, and there’s plenty of seaside resorty things to do within easy reach of the site: the sandy beach, pier and town centre are all within walking distance, and you’ll have to drive for less than 15 minutes to get to the museum, nature reserve, aquarium or theme park. There’s tons to keep you busy on site too: play a round of miniature golf, perfect your end-game at the nine-hole pitch and putt, have a go at bowls or boules, try out the arcade games and go game-set-match on the tennis courts. Feeling peckish? There are oodles of eateries within 25 minutes’ walk of North Shore, or you can settle in for a meal on site – call in to the fully-licensed bar-restaurant, then stick around for the evening’s entertainment.

Ik was niet zo blij met: The price way too much like most sites in the UK.
Metered EHU limited allowance felt like yet another money making scheme...
Shop on site expensive.

Ik was blij met: Had a great time. Just a little getaway for the weekend. So close to the beach great for a morning walk with the dog. Really enjoyed the on site club house. With music and bingo.

Ik was niet zo blij met: I didn’t win the bingo.
Seriously though. The onsite arcade was a little run down. Some of the machines out of order.
Not much to choose from with tokens won from the arcade either.

Campingpod (huisdieren toegestaan)

Ik was blij met: Great location, close to local activities. The staff were friendly. The pod was clean and well maintained which took the hassle out of putting up a tent. Facilities like toilets etc were also well maintained.

Ik was blij met: The camp is very friendly and easy access to Skegness town a short walk away toilets are kept spotless and the camp is immaculate and quite reception is really helpful nothing really to dislike lots to do on the camp nice cosy club house with good entertainment

Ik was niet zo blij met: the only thing i thought they could improve was the bins could have a few more round the camp but only a small gripe did no way spoil our stay

Kids will want to dive into the aquarium, the fairground and the brightly lit amusements of the pleasure pier, while grownups might have more appreciation for the Naturelands seal sanctuary or The Village, Church Farm open-air museum. Want something for everyone? The entire family should be entertained with trips to Fantasy Island theme park (in nearby Ingoldmells), the Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway and the stock car and bangers racing at Skegness Raceway, all within 10 minutes of the site. When you want to take your adventuring beyond the bounds of the seaside town, you can find peace 15 minutes away from the thrill rides and squealing tyres with visits to Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve or the flat Lincolnshire Wolds for cycling and walking trails, or by making a pitstop at the spectacular Gunby Hall and Gardens for a taste of splendour. For a quirkier outing, make your way a little further afield for a night at the Kinema in the Woods, believed to be the only full-time cinema in the UK still using rear projection for screenings.
