Ox Mountain Glamping

A aimé We totally enjoyed our 2 night stay on the red bus at ox mountain glamping. Dermot and Monica were Wonderful hosts with plenty of information about the area and places to go. The woods beside us for walks and the drive over the mountains with beautiful scenery was amazing. No WiFi available or coverage on phones, and this to us was great as we relaxed and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The kids are already planning the next time here.

A aimé Absolutely everything from the accommodation, the animals and surroundings was amazing. Our grandson was so happy and carefree he didn't mention his electronic devices once and just played especially with the hosts adorable dog who was so friendly and playful. The hosts and staff were such friendly, helpful and down to earth people who took time out of their busy day to meet and talk with us. We were orientated to the area and walks and areas of interest were recommended. It is self catering and the hosts encourage recycling. The whole experience brought us back to a time when phones, social media and Internet did not rule our lives and time could be spent talking, playing boardgames and outdoor activities without the new social norms. We shall definitely return and I will recommend the experience to others.

Clean and comfortable with added extras hot water bottles
Perfect location added bonus of goats and friendly dog to welcome you. Games room, forest walks, river for fishing.

A aimé Remote destination ,plenty of activities to entertain youngsters . Warm friendly welcome.welcome fire burning in a lovely lodge which was so comfortable.
No network .

A aimé We had a wonderful stay from start to finish it was relaxing and peaceful great place for children to get to know nature,our hosts Dermot and Monica are top notch people kind and helpful in every way possible we will be returning again.

A aimé Fabulous place to go, Monica the owner was so nice and friendly. The views are outstanding. We stayed in the red bus and it was so comfortable and charming.

A aimé We found the Lodge comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The stove was lit and a glorious fire was warming the lounge when we arrived, which was so nice. The scenery is stunning and we loved the short looped walk through the forest over the river to the Mass Rock site, their dog Hunter kindly led us there and back. Our city slicker kids 2.5 and 5 managed it easily. They were entranced by the piglets, goats and ducks and all the space to run around.

N'a pas aimé Few signs of dampness on the upper walls, on a very rainy day but no drips getting in so it didn't bother us!

A aimé We really enjoyed our stay. The children were over the moon a real adventure for them. It was great just going back to holidays with board games, good scenery and wonderful hosts. The booking with pitchup was so easy. Would definitely book through yourselves again.
