Me gustó: Where to start 😀 from the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found a campsite that would provide us with everything we need To enjoy a few days rest in our campervan . There was so much space that we didn’t feel cramped and were able to choose where we wanted to set up for our date . The views were spectacular How many could see Mount Bay in the distance. The sunset In the evening arrived was amazing, We enjoyed an evening with our fire pit, enjoying a glass of wine and looking at beautiful starry sky . The welcome from the owners was warm and welcoming, Nothing was too much trouble and on our second day was we got caught out walking in a heavy storm they collected us on our walk back from a lovely local pub. Rachel went above and beyond to help us With helping information. The facilities are more than adequate with lovely clean showers toilet and an area where you could charge your phone collect firewood and get information on the local area. We also bought some freshly laid eggs from the chickens on the farm which were delicious. We are already planning our next visit as it was so relaxing.

Me gustó: Lovely campsite, clearly very well maintained and looked after and very fair pricing. Pretty flat field (great for campervans and motorhomes). All the facilities were immaculate, we turned up late evening and it was so nice to have a warm shower and head to bed after a long journey. Before we left in the morning Rachel (the owner) came over to introduce herself and check that everything was alright for us - she was super friendly and if we are passing this area again we will definitely be staying again!

Me gustó: Good basic facilities. Loads of room. Proximity to buses for various legs of SWCP Very helpful and enthusiastic host.

No me gustó: Nearby Service base had helicopter manoeuvres one night!

Me gustó: Lamarth Farm is unique, its owners are very hospitable, friendly and informative. The site is a very large well kept field with so much space hence all the privacy you want . There is a toilet / shower block one for ladies one for gents. The showers are set to just the right temperature and are kept meticulously clean, the outside sinks for your dishes are nice and large. There is a special place for washing wet suits. A drinking water tap, an elsan point. Then there is an information shed with lots of local leaflets and written information. Games for both adults and children, a fridge freezer is also here for people’s use. There is also a phone charging point in this area. Outside is swing ball set up and in the middle of the field are two full-size goal posts and a football for those who fancy a kick around. All in all a fabulous site that is very quiet and tranquil the only noise is the helicopters and other aircraft from RNAS Culdrose that is opposite. Some people would object to this but the navy have to train their helicopter pilots somewhere. The whole area is very picturesque with a wide variety to see. A range of supermarkets are nearby in Helston and fuel for your car if plentiful and cheaper than further up country. There are lovely pubs that serve equally lovely food and a superb Thai restaurant a close drive away but you do need to book. I could carry on writing the virtues of this site but go and see for yourselves, Rachel and Luke and the two boys will make you very welcome.

Me gustó: Really clean site. Spotless showers and toilets. Really friendly owners. Huge field. Fire pits/ bbq’s allowed. Large closed off dog run.
