Me gustó: Peaceful and quiet

No me gustó: £12 charge for a child - absolutely joke. Facilities are basic - even hot shower didn't work properly. Spent 10 minutes waiting for some hot water got an equivalent of a cup of warm water before it went to cold. Their pitchup page says no chemical disposal - but guess what, there is one.

Del administrador: thank you for your feedback, which is valuable to us, I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay, we are very transparent about our site and it does state that there is a lack of pressure to the top of this site so that customers know what to expect.
however we are addressing this lack of pressure and are investing money to improve the situation.
I did check the pitch up site and the chemical toilet disposal was in bold to say it is available.

Me gustó: Well kept organised camp. Immaculate clean toilets and washing up areas. Beautiful area with sheep and horses and wildlife. Lovely walks along the downs and to the seafront in walking distance.

No me gustó: Suggestion. For pitch up website/information on this site. Need clearer clarification on size of MH acceptable. Clearly shows a picture of a MH at top.

caravans and motorhomes are not allowed on this site, but unfortunately the odd one does slip through the net, but i will take this up with the web owners.

Nice space to play games in.
Options to order food and fire out.

No me gustó: When it’s windy it’s very windy due to its elevated and exposed location, be warned.
Only found out it has low water pressure after booking and upon arrival, it’s not advertised, so be warned it can be a dribble and very cold water with Intermittent hot dribble water.
Take your rubbish home is frustrating if you are there for a while.
The people that work there literally drive around in what feels like very 5 minutes making it noisy and the feeling of being watched, but they were friendly.
Expensive for what you get.

Del administrador: thank you for your feed back, our stud farm web site is very transparent, and clearly states that we are on top of the downs suffering low pressure on our water system (so it is advertised}, however we are addressing this situation and looking into avenues to resolve the low pressure. majority of our customers would rather take their rubbish home than pay even more for pitches for us to get rid of trade waist..
our staff never drive unnecessarily, they have fire pits to deliver, logs and repeat orders, toilet cleaning etc, and they do try to make your stay as good as possible.

Me gustó: Friendly staff, amazing large field with stunning views. Didn't use the showers as only stayed 1 night but looked nice enough & was advised about the water pressure prior to arrival and again when we arrived. Toilets well stocked with paper/soap and clean. Decent size pitches, looking forward to returning for a longer stay.

Me gustó: We were welcomed by the host on our arrival. The camping field was large with plenty of space. The facilities were regularly cleaned.

Me gustó: owners provided lots of useful information about access. Hayley greeted me on entry and explained everything and then helped me get my gas working! The fresh food was delicious. The site is high up on the Tye but has level areas and has wonderful sunset views and immediate access to good walks. The town can be reached by a short walk to access shops and pubs. Facilities were clean and accessible.

Me gustó: Some views

No me gustó: The campsite is quite pricey considering the lack of amenities. There are no bins available, so you'll need to take all your waste home with you. Water is supplied to campsite, but there are times when you might run out, like while brushing your teeth. Overall, it's a very basic campsite.

sorry to hear you was a little disappointed, we do have a lot of regular visitors and their view is that they would rather take their rubbish home than have increasing pitch prices, as trade waist is very expensive to dispose of.
also we do provide bottled water in the toilets to brush your teeth should there be a lack of water.
we are trying to address the water issue and hopefully have a resolution in the very near future.
