As locations go, Barbana Lipizzans Camper Park has a pretty spectacular one – in all senses of the word. First of all, it’s within 15 minutes’ drive of the famed Lake Bled, mountain hikes and Slovenia’s fourth-largest city, Kranj. However, secondly, it’s also incredibly peaceful. Set on a family farm in Upper Carniola that breeds powerful Lipizzaner horses, it has a quiet, rural atmosphere. Getting here should be nice and straightforward too, as the E61 is only 500 metres away. The spacious pitches are within a five-minute walk of the Globoko village train station for days out that don’t require any driving. The village also has a bakery, shop, restaurant and access to the river Sava (frequently used as a wild swimming spot) – and once again, they’re all within five minutes’ walk of the farm. At Barbana Lipizzans Camper Park, not only will you get to see Lipizzaner horses up close, but you’re also welcome to bring your family and dogs. There are plenty of cycling and walking trails in the surrounding area, and with a 10-minute drive, it’s possible to reach the medieval town of Radovljica, which has a beekeeping museum. If you’re wondering where else you might go from the farm, it’s worth jotting down that the Austrian border is only a 20-minute drive away, Triglav National Park is 25 minutes away and Tržič (the starting point for several mountain hikes) is 15 minutes away.

Liked Wir sind spontan in die neue Campanlage gestoßen, waren hoch erfreut wie freundlich wir empfangen wurden.
Jeden Abend wurde ein Lagerfeuer gemacht und man konnte den Pferden zuschauen, die in der Mitte des Platzes ihre Stellplätze hatten. Sehr schöne Idee um diesen urischen Stellplatz für Familien mit Kindern noch attraktiver zu machen.
Sanitäranlagen top sauber, alles Neu gemacht, wir fühlten uns sehr wohl.
5min.zu Fuß geht es zum Zug, dass wir gleich unseren Ljubljanaausflug gemacht haben. Auch in Globoko gibt es ein urisches Restaurant, was nur mit Bestellung besucht werden kann. Waren hocherfreut über die landestypischen Angebote, was auch ein Gaumenschmaus war.
Mit Fahrrad 6km sind wir dann nach Bled gefahren und dann haben wir die Vintkar Klamm besucht.
Top Adresse für die Ausflüge.
Rundum perfekte Lage, sehr schöner, neuer Campingplatz mit sehr netten Betreiber.

Disliked Es könnten mehr Toiletten da sein.
( 1x Männer, 2x Frauen)
Im Verhältnis zu der Abwaschstrecke einfach für voll ausgelastete Plätze zu wenig.

Liked Sehr ruhiger und schöner Stellplatz, saubere Sanitäranlagen, Gastgeber sorgen für Gemütlichkeit am Abend mit Feuerschale.
Kleiner Laden für Lebensmittel, kleine Backstube und tolles Lokal (ACHTUNG! Nicht jeden Tag geöffnet) sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Guter Standort für Ausflugsmöglichkeiten.
