A massive site, primarily geared towards static caravans
Electric optional grass and sand pitch
Liked The staff were lovely and helpful - both at the reception and in the restaurant (understandably winding down for the season but still with a decent coffee and fresh breakfast offer).
The site is dog friendly.
Showers and toilets were clean, water was hot, and we had a great space all to ourselves.
Beach bonus - one of the German bunkers is just at the campsite exit.
Disliked I'm not a fan of token-operated showers as there is always a risk of malfunction (and the machine 'eating' the token)...

Very on your own further up the site and pitches are very run down.
Electric optional grass and sand pitch
Liked Peaceful and close to beautiful beach
Disliked Very run down, pitches with scrap on them. Couldn't get electric even tho we paid for it, due to no space (other than next to scrap caravan 8 foot gap) no way of fastening awning down due to sandy pitches.
Food was nice, but it's not a restaurant, it's a burger van. Chap on the bar very friendly as was receptionist. This place has great potential, it's close to a beautiful beach and 15 min walk to the town. It's ideal for a stop over, but it's quite eery due to being on your own. Lots of police presence too whilst we were here, on the site and in the dunes. Showers worked well, toilet near to pitch. No WiFi but we didn't need any anyway. And no bins or toilet emptying facilities so you'd struggle for more than a few days. Close to euro tunnel for heading home.

Absolutely nothing. Booked for 2 nights,…
Electric optional grass and sand pitch
Liked Absolutely nothing. Booked for 2 nights, left after 1 night.
Disliked Arrived at 5:30 to find the reception closed. Opening hours advertised open till 6pm. Eventually we found a very abrupt young lady who opened up and confirmed our booking. We were to choose our own pitch. After attempting a few, we finally found one that wasn’t soft sand. We had a go at hooking up to a number of electric points and eventually found one that worked intermittently. There was no one around by now to advise that there was an issue with the electric. In the morning we advised the reception who stated “it worked before” then dismissed us. We had pay extra for showers, which only had cold water. The shower block was very grubby. The site looks derelict. In the morning we decided to leave. You have to pay 100 euro deposit for the gate fob. When returning the fob we mentioned that we were leaving, only thing abrupt person said “you won’t get a refund” wasn’t interested in refund, just had to get out of that dreadful place. We have been touring France for 5 weeks and have never came across such a place. Would definitely not recommend.
I left my phone in the office. When I realised shortly afterwards, I went to the caravan where the girl was and she said I hadn’t. My partners phone was showing it was definitely in or around the office. He went to the caravan and she stormed passed us, opened the door and put it in his hand then stormed off.

Pour un passage d’une nuit c’est suffisant
Electric optional grass and sand pitch
Cordialement

Not ready for paying camping guests.
Electric optional grass and sand pitch
Liked Nearby beach is nice, electric was reliable.
Disliked Site is in quite a state, pitches are random, many are very deep sand so no good for campers / motorhomes or caravans. We found 2 big pieces of metal with rusty nails sticking out in the sand on our pitch, good job the van didn't get a flat tyre, or worse we stepped on them! Cigarette ends all over the pitch too, and in a general state. Toilets blocks were certainly not modern as described in the information, and although clean enough most of the time, they clearly had some drainage issues as the floor was often half flooded, and they smelt quite nasty at times. You have to pay for showers and the shower I used barely worked and literally dribbled water. Abandoned caravans littered across the site, and even some newer static type homes seemingly dumped on the side of some pitches. We were later told they are apparently renovating the site after a period of being abandoned, but its got a long long way to go and I saw very little evidence of much being renovated in the camping areas or toilet blocks. They are obviously spending some money on new static vans but thats about all I could see. It has the potential to be a really nice site, but its certainly not ready to be accepting camping guests in my opinion, and still has an abandoned feel to it all.
