Liked: Lots of different areas with nice level pitches to choose from, electricity if needed, peaceful site, bike hire, water, grey waste and toilet emptying, easy booking online and decent showers. Short walk to the beautiful Saint Avertin village with river Cher. Lovely spot and easy to get to Tours via bus or cab.
Disliked: Toilets were clean but could do with upgrade.

Liked: Large pitches and quiet
Disliked: No toilet seats on all toilets, so didn't use.
Ran out of toilet paper by morning in all toilets, so husband couldn't use.
Paid for pitch, told nothing regarding water, or waste water, lack of information on arrival.
Ran out of maps for Tours, not encouraging to explore Tours.
Paid for a 2nd night only because it was convenient, no other reason.
Was not told WiFi.

Liked: Great basic site, great Location for travelling around the Loire Valley
Quiet despite being near to a commercial area
Friendly helpful staff
Plenty of showers, toilets, wash basins & dish washer facilities.
Disliked: Not much to dislike, A lot of the showers leaked and sprayed onto the floor plus the toilets are separate to the showers.

Liked: Pitch was level on hard standing. Toilets and showers although not many for the size of site were clean does look like more toilet would be in use in high season. Washing up sink were a bit dirty other users did not clean after use left veg in plug hole. Only a stopover so didnt get to walk anywhere only on embankment.
Disliked: Asked reception if restaurants over the road was open that night and she looked and said yes 7. We went at 7 but was closed. Only opens at lunchtime.

Liked: Very friendly helpful mademoiselle on reception. Fantastic location with lots of trees and thoughtfully laid out site. Will definitely look for more Only Camp sites.
Disliked: A little further than we thought from central Tours, probably better to cycle in.

A pleasant site, but best avoided until the new bridge is finished.

Liked: Location beside the River Cher, easy bus ride into Tours, nice flat pitches, some with hardstanding. Clean toilet block and washing up area.
Disliked: You can't actually see the river from the campsite although the drone view picture gives you an impression of river views. Electricity is an extra 6 euros, making it a bit pricey considering there's no bar, bread order, bike hire open yet.
Showers were barely warm.
Couldn't access the site when we arrived until reception opened at 3.30, and once it's closed at 6, if you arrive hoping to get in for the night, you can't, as there's no phone no to ring.
A new pedestrian and cycle bridge is being built just up the road, and when the pile driver starts up with its rhythmic banging (8.20 this morning) it's absolutely earsplitting. It stops at night, though.
