Arm yourselves with plenty of swimming gear before setting off for your stay at Camping Village de l’Armorique, because this Brittany site is only about 800 metres from the fine sandy beaches of the Côtes d’Armor – and there’s a heated indoor swimming pool on site too for those days when the beach isn’t an option… This is a pretty quiet stretch of coastline, on a small peninsula between Morlaix and Lannion, and about five minutes’ drive from the nearest shops and restaurants in Plestin-les-Grèves. It’s a super spot for a family holiday, with several lovely beaches close by and plenty to keep everyone occupied on site as well. As well as that swimming pool, the site also has a playground, a multisports area, table tennis and a pétanque court for a bit of gentle competition during your holiday. Tournaments are organised by site staff in high season so you can try out your skills against your fellow guests. Summer is also the time for kids’ activities and themed evenings with games or live music.

Liked Très bon accueil, le gérant est attentif à la demande des clients et réactif lorsqu’il y a un problème. Un snack qui propose pas mal de choix et une belle piscine, ainsi que des jeux (baby-foot et ping-pong). Le tri sélectif des déchets est respecté, il y a même un composteur. La plage n’est qu’à quelque mètre et n’est pas encombré par les touristes. Les sanitaires sont bien entretenus. Le camping est calme et bien placé plusieurs commerces à proximité.

Disliked Manque de savon et de papier essui main, la machine à laver qui bug un peu, mais le gérant est réactif et attentif à ce petit soucis.

Disliked Las parcelas están muy poco protegidas tanto si hace sol como si hace mal tiempo.

Nos colocaron muy lejos de los baños y de cualquier sitio.

Liked Le cadre, les emplacements adaptables, l'amabilité et la serviabilité du personnel (exceptée la gérante, vraiment peu aimable).

Disliked L'éloignement important des sanitaires, de l'accès à l'eau et à l'électricité, les horaires d'ouverture de l'accueil et du snack non respectés (quasiment toujours fermé), le jacuzzi froid, l'absence d'animation...

Brittany holidays often feature plenty of time at the coast – and a stay here is likely to be no exception, with lots of lovely sandy beaches nearby including Plage de Pors Mellec (10 minutes’ walk) and Plage de Beg Douar (15 minutes). There’s a surf school in Locquirec (10 minutes’ drive), historic remains to seek out by the sea in Hogolo (15 minutes’ walk) and the GR34 ‘sentier des douaniers’ runs all the way along the coast for hikes with a sea view. Pretty seaside towns like Perros-Guirec (35 minutes’ drive) and Trébeurden (half an hour) are worth a stroll as well. Elsewhere you might like to spend a day at exploring the planetarium and Gallic Village at Parc Du Radôme (half an hour), take a boat trip to the Réserve Naturelle des Sept Îles from Trégastel (35 minutes) or climb up into the trees at Vivons Perches Adventure Park (half an hour).
