  • Peaceful and green Mid Wales site on the banks of the Dyfi river
  • Machynlleth 15 minutes' drive; half an hour to the coast
  • Easy access from the A470; pub, shop and café 10 minutes' walk
Countryside views and convenient access all in one location? Parc Bryndyfi makes a fantastic base for a Mid Wales break – this lush green oasis of a site is a proper rural place to stay, surrounded by trees and with the Dyfi river running down one side. The convenient access comes in the form of the A470, one of the main roads running through this part of the world. It’s just outside the site, making your ins and outs nice and simple and making it easy to get out for day trips to Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park or over to the coast. For even more on the convenience front, the village of Cemmaes is about 10 minutes’ walk away, with a traditional pub (serving food as well as drinks) and an award-winning village shop/café. For more shopping and eating, head to Machynlleth, 15 minutes’ drive away. The setup at this site is fairly simple, but guests have access to smart bathroom facilities and an indoor washing-up/kitchen area. Dogs are welcome, and there’s plenty of space for them and the kids to have a good run about.

Primitive grass tent or campervan campsite

Liked A stunning location right beside a picturesque river with mountain background. Bats feeding at night, sheep bleating in the fields. Flat, easily accessible field and a new washroom building with big shower/bathrooms and washing up area. Met by Chris - super friendly and clear. Fires allowed too!

Primitive grass tent or campervan campsite

Liked Site manager Chris met me on arrival as I stepped out of my van. An absolute gentleman and clearly cares about his visitors having a pleasant stay.
Very spacious camping field next to a lovely river.
The view of the night sky was one of the best I’ve ever seen.
The facilities were very modern and clean. Showers very spacious.
No wifi but 4G was so good I streamed a film without any interruption.

Liked Chris the owner/manager was very friendly & helpful. Fabulous location, next to river - saw kingfisher, heron, little egret, bats; heard 2 or 3 tawny owls at night. Shower cubicles/toilets cleaned throughout the day & evening.
