  • Among spectacular scenery a short stroll from the beach at Crail
  • A 20-minute drive from St Andrews and 45 from Fife
  • Heated outdoor pool and indoor play area
Golfers, boaters, beach fans, families, couples and heritage hunters: you'll surely approve of Sauchope Links Park in Scotland's Fife. On the eastern tip of Fife, this is a place positioned to soak up sun, with spectacular Scottish views, and within walking distance of the historic town of Crail. It's a short drive from famed St Andrews and has outdoor pursuits aplenty to pursue in the surrounding area. And those beaches? The local sands at Crail are only a few minutes' walk away. Amenities are kept spotless to ensure guests have as comfy and relaxed a time as poss; you'll find pursuits on site too, such as a heated outdoor pool and an indoor play area for the kids with pool and a football table. You won't have to leave the park if you need emergency bits and bobs, as the site shop stocks basic essentials. But if you do want to stockpile stuff to be sure, local supermarkets are 10 minutes' walk away at Crail along a most scenic coastal path.

Liked: The site is clean, friendly and has amazing views. It has a gorgeous coastal walk into the small town.

Disliked: Touring pitches are the ones with the views of the water, so only negative was that you had 3/ 4 vehicles in front of the Seaview. Pool is also only open June and July which was disappointing as the weather was amazing! They should try open if the weather is great as it's a novelty in Scotland!

Liked: Absolutely perfect site overlooking beech and sea. Immaculate toilets. Staff so helpful. I had a problem with my motorhome and they were so understanding. Did not charge me for the extra night due to major fault with motorhome. Other camp members were so helpful and understanding too. A must to visit and has recently started taking tourers again

Cabin

Liked: We had such a lovely weekend at Sauchope holiday links, staff were lovely. The site was beautiful and peaceful but also fun. Our cabin was in great condition and very clean. Very close to the town centre, crail harbour, St Andrews and Anstruther, we will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Geodesic dome (hot tub, no pets, wood-burning stove)

Liked: Nice area unfortunately everything eles was awful. Very rude staff.

Disliked: Staff were very rude and not not helpful disgusting how they spoke to me once hot out money they were not hothered anout the stay and how awful it was. We actually had to go home the following day wasted trip altogether.

Log burnner to small to take logs
Double bed with single mattresses awful to sleep on.

Dome doesnt lock unless want a padlock on however dangerous if place caught fire and trapped inside.

Was told there was power then at reception we were not allowed to use electric hookups

Wood burning hot tub christ didn't het a chance to use as took so much time to heat up and to burn tons of wood. All profit driven and no care about customers phone signal non existent.

Definitely will not be returning.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi there, sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us, the domes do not come with electric hook up the staff was certainly not rude, it also states that the domes only sleep 4 but upon arrival you informed me that you had brought an extra guest.

Kind Regards

Carole.
