Liked: The site itself was nice and the bar had friendly staff
Disliked: The pitch we were on, right next to the walkthrough to the lakes. The amount of kids running around doing what they wanted. And screaming their heads iff

Liked: Blacklands is a fantastic site which we have been returning to each year. The dawns chorus is amazing, the lakes and scenery are beautiful. The showers are nice and hard and the facilities are always kept well.

Liked: Welcome from staff, proximity to the countryside, cleanliness of the toilets and shower blocks, location, bar and pizza area, grassy pitches.
Disliked: Our pitch was quite small, and if another family had been in the pitch next to us, we wouldn't have had much space at all.

Liked: Beautiful surroundings, lakes and bar area. The playground is really good.
Lots of space to camp with spots under the trees.
Small shop.
Good atmosphere.
Walking distance to Calne.
Lovely dog walking nature walk around the site.
Great for fishing
Disliked: The toilets and showers, although cleaned and looked clean enough, had lots of cobwebs and build up of grime around the edges of doors and corners.
The showers in the shared mens and ladies were nicer, but I don't love them being unisex in a family set up.
Very expensive for our family at £47 a night and I just don't feel it was worth this.
