Liked Location
Disliked Described as adults only correct but should include behaved. Set up at 4pm then at 5pm moved due to vile mouthed drunken group behind us so did others. Ppl complained nothing was done for whole 3 nights. Loud music and vile language really enjoyed our weekend Not. Site was not monitored ppl driving round at 10 at night for whatever reason not sure. Facilities are basic that we excepted but been better if they were cleaned. Shame a very sorry rundown site. But owed by loverly friendly ppl

Powered grass campsite
Liked Welcomed on arrival and had the option of a few pitches. A very quiet and peaceful site, no noise, you’re surrounded by nature. The facilities are in farm buildings, which was fine for us and we found them clean and worked well. We had a lovely stay and would return.

Nice quiet site, friendly owner.
Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Nice quiet site, a working farm, lovely warm welcome from owner Bridget. Adequate and clean toilet and shower facilities, although a little tired (shower temperature variable due to the sporadic water supply which the owner explained can be affected when the cows drink from the troughs!) Fridge and freezer available in outhouse. You pitch where you like, although we found it was getting a bit crowded when we were there as there was no delineation of pitches. Ideally located for Wells and Glastonbury.
Disliked Not much space between pitches! Pitches a little sloped so watch that your camp-bed doesn’t face downhill or uphill 😬

Stayed a week and left refreshed and recharged.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Very peaceful site, near to all tourist attractions if that is your thing.
Being on the Levels there are all kinds of wild flora and fauna to be found.
The site amenities are rustic and kept clean, with hot showers and hot washing up facilities.
You are given a choice of pitches when you arrive.
Disliked Not a criticism, but take some leveling blocks for some of the pitches.
We chose to pitch on a slope and forgot to bring blocks.
We very kindly used some old firebricks, from the site.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Owners very friendly. Campsite peaceful and beautifully done. Facilities surprisingly good for a temporary site, including a fridge freezer for use of campers. Lovely to see dogs welcome
Loved the line of trees that sounded like a babbling brook in the wind (apparently planted by Bridget 20 years ago). Can't wait to go back
Disliked Outside of owners control: the access road from Glastonbury is an experience my car wasn't fond of, wouldn't want to navigate it in the dark
