Liked: All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I had an issue on arrival and it was sorted within 5 minutes which was fantastic. Swimming pool was clean and adequate. Pitch sizes were good. Bar prices were reasonable. Entertainment was great, my daughter loved it. Plenty to play in the arcade and very generous shop assistants gave my daughter a few extra prizes for her tickets! Shower facilities were very clean and well maintained. Will absolutely be back!

Liked: Club house was clean and tidy as was the pool. Play areas were well equipped. Site was kept well and toilets were very clean. Lovely location overlooking the river!
Disliked: Curfew of 10pm however club house music was on till 1am with drunk campers coming back to the tent and disrupting our sleep. No warden came to check and the arguments and drunk crying went on past 2am not great when you’ve got young children! Feel like the camping area could be staggered with a mix of campers and tents so you’ve not directing next to another tent. Play areas were well equipped however the material used for the floor totally ruined my daughters new trainers leaving all black marks. I feel as though the clubhouse is too small for the volume of people staying and the parking situation outside isn’t great, too squashed in.

Liked: Booked this very last minute and were not disappointed.
Staff were very friendly, especially one receptionist, didn't catch her name, had snazzy black glasses on, was very helpful and friendly.
Campsite is a good size, lovely location, easy to get to, bus stop right outside the entrance, to Weston, Brean and Burnham.
Two pubs and restaurants within very close walking distance.
Campsite pitches were very ample in size
On-site shop had a little of everything. Bar was well stocked and not too pricy, only ate there one evening, but the food was good and the Sunday roast looked and smelt delicious. Dog friendly, which is great.
Entertainment was good, and catered for all ages and tastes.
Smaller sports bar attached to the main bar/dining area, and outside sun garden/smoking area was great too.
Toilet/shower block was immaculate, tidy, smart and warm. Yes, you have to pay £1 for ten minutes shower use, but this stops people hogging the showers, wasting water unnecessarily and ridiculous queues building up, so £1 for a shower is no drama.
Camp pitch was level, good size and had an electric hook up. Lovely views across the lake and meadows.
Pool was temporarily out of use, so cannot comment on that.
Definitely intend to return :)

Liked: All very clean very well worked site.
Services all there apart from getting water refill in Mobil home water
tank although service was there but awkward parking.
Overall a great site with local pubs within walking distance if you don’t want the club house. Although clubhouse well equipped and very entertaining.
Disliked: Wi fi was rubbish
Bar staff didn’t really know how to work a bar and didn’t really care very un professional in most cases.
But don’t let that put you off.

Liked: Very clean.
Disliked: I chose the site so i could get showered etc before going to a funeral, there was a Power cut while i was having a shower, didn't come back on for around 20min, had to have a cold wash and shave. I told the receptionist and she didn't even offer me another token.

From the manager: Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately we have experienced issues with the National Grid of late and this power outage was completely beyond our control. We apologise that our receptionist wasn't more accommodating and this will be addressed.
