Liked Everything!
Neil and Mandy were excellent hosts, so helpful.
Facilities were great.
It was very quite while we were there, lovely to give my daughters a bit of freedom to go around the site on their own, especially to go to the honesty shop and the play area.
Disliked I can't think of anything!

Lovely stay with great facilities
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked High quality, clean facilities. Nice touches for kids and families (benches and table football) and we loved the dog stick library. Very kind welcome from the owners. Excellent WiFi. Good, level, sheltered pitches.
Disliked Very near a busy road so somewhat noisy, and not great unless you're driving. Be aware that pitches are quite small so if you have a large tent, they might be too small.

Liked Neil was really helpful, friendly and always on hand when needed. Glastonbury was a really close drive. There was a good walk up to the Hood monument from the site.
We were lucky that there was only a couple of others booked on when we stayed.

Would recommend, great little campsite. Well maintained and equipped!
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked This was a lovely, well kept campsite with thoughtful touches such as the honesty fridge and trailer packed out with fun things for the children to play with/hang out in. Neil, the owner, was really friendly and gave us a great suggestion to cycle to Somerton with a child friendly route. Lovely village park a few mins walk away too (next to post office). We had a great time and liked that the site was quieter and safe for the kids to cycle around the paddock.

Good unspoilt friendly camping
Powered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Large open flat field off the main road, perfect for campervan and kids could play down the middle of pitches. Friendly hosts with good knowledge of area.
Cute kids games area where they could play safely.
Good showers/toilets and kept clean.
Loved the little shop area with honesty box, perfect for kids ice creams and not over priced. Some local beer/cider would have been a bonus ..Fresh local eggs were great 👍
Also had a pub a 5 minute walk away and a huge kids park which we had to ourselves if you wanted an hour off site!!
Disliked Nothing!!

Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff and level pitches
Powered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Friendly and accessible site owners
Very Level compact site
Well kept Grass surface
Clean toilet and shower cabins
Excellent free WiFi
I had a great time ! as the whole site to myself :)
Disliked Not really dislikes ! but should be 'aware':-
Its an open field for motorhomes and tents all in one, so no pitch boundaries
Not the sites fault, but there neighbours appear to have some sort of Goose farm ?.... the dawn call does go on a bit !
Toilet and service cabins are nice and clean, just wonder if two units are enough if the site was full ?
All being said I will be back !

From the manager: Thank you for your great review, nice to hear you will be looking to come back again. Just so you are aware, we do have small white flags as markers to separate each pitch, but you were very fortunate to have the site to yourself, so maybe having the whole site to yourself they went unnoticed. The early sounds you possibly heard are Guinea foul, that are a couple of fields away, as we are located in the countryside, wild life sounds are quite common and part of our natural surroundings. We are in the process of adding additional toilets for when we are busier, but thank you for your thoughts. Thank you so much for your review, and we look forward so having you stay again soon.
Thanks,
Neil & Mandy
