  • Family holiday park with indoor and outdoor pools plus a fishing lake
  • A five-minute drive to Burnham-on-Sea and 20 to Weston-super-Mare
  • Sauna, Jacuzzi, restaurant, live entertainment, shop and play area
Run by a family for families, Home Farm Holiday Park really does have everything your travel crew needs for a satisfying stint in Somerset… including both indoor and outdoor swimming pools (open in the warmer months), with the latter having a mini water factory and a toddler splash zone. (At both pools you'll need to book slots in advance to make sure they're never overcrowded.) Parents can sprawl out on a free sun lounger while the kids swim at this site five minutes' drive from Burnham-on-Sea… or find a babysitter and make their way towards the well-stocked fishing lake to reel in common carp, bream and pike (with an environmental rod licence plus a Home Farm Fishing Permit). A fully equipped gym’s also here for the adults, along with a sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room for an extra fee. Got the pup with you as well? A special dog-walking area is on site to make sure they're all tuckered out before the drive home Activities the clan can take part in together include live entertainment during the evenings at the Nite Owl complex, which has two amusement arcades, family-friendly restaurant and kids’ bar. If the big game’s on, catch it on the live BT Sports showings (footie fans might also appreciate that a football pitch is on site as well…), or stream it on the wifi while getting into the Somerset spirit by sipping on ciders. Just make sure to line the stomach beforehand with options from the takeaway menu or concoct your own meals using ingredients from the on-site supermarket. It’ll be easy to get home speedily after stays here, as the park’s close to Junction 22 of the M5 motorway.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (pet friendly)

Liked: The campsite had a lovely warm indoor pool, play area, and entertainment in the evening for both children and adults. The staff were very friendly & helpful with a couple issues we had. shower blocks and toilets were all very clean. food was reasonably priced not too expensive. kids loved the arcades too.

Disliked: they didn't show any sports on in the day time in the club house and only the small bar was available so not all drinks on tap like there was at the top bar in the evening. my husband liked the cider at the top bar.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (super, no pets)

Liked: The site was really well maintained with clean facilities throughout. All the staff were friendly and polite, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

The gym was well-equipped and a great addition, and the clubhouse had something for everyone—perfect for relaxing and having fun.

Would definitely recommend!

Disliked: Out door pool was closed, not open until later in the year (think end of the month), which given the nice weather would have been a good addition.

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (super, no pets)

Liked: Very clean site and pitches.
Food and drink was good value for money!
Entertainment area is huge, so plenty of seats.

Disliked: Showers, the water was so powerful it hit the back of the cubical doors, so all of your clothes got wet.

On site shop closed at 6pm, was way over priced and half empty. Bit of a pointless shop but wouldn’t take much to get it right, when you’re not close to any other shops!!

Outdoor pool does not open until the end of May. So, in the bank holiday heat you had to use the indoor pool and pay £3.50 for an hour, which you have to pre book.

Finally, nothing was sign posted so you had to really work out where everything was…

As you’re not by the sea, shops, amusements, a few simple tweaks, would help make your stay better and you wouldn’t mind paying their higher rates.

Liked: Stayed on dog friendly EHU with hardstanding & grass from Friday to Tuesday and had a wonderful time. Amenities were spotless, albeit we didnt use the swimming pool or spa (extra cost). Staff friendly and the entertainment was excellent. Burnham is a 5min drive. Would definitely recommend and hopefully return in the future.

Disliked: Lots of barking dogs.

Local attractions

This park’s close to Somerset attractions including Britain’s shortest pier at Burnham-on-Sea, about a five-minute drive away. If you’re up for a longer stroll, this coastal town also has a 2.5-mile promenade to wander on with shops and restaurants lining the front. For a bigger pier, head to Weston-super-Mare's seafront jetty a 20-minute drive up the coast and check out the old buildings of this Victorian-era resort while you’re there. For more browsing after dipping in and out of the town's antique shops, the discount outlets of Clarks Village are about half an hour away from Home Farm in the car. Splurging got you feeling peckish? Inland, and about a 20-minute drive from the site, is the tourist town of Cheddar for stocking up on the famed cheese and then taking it along to the scenic gorge nearby for a picnic...
